What happened? ~ chapter 11
When I wake up I'm in my room wrapped up in my comforter.right on cue my dad walks in with a cup of water and some pills.that's when the pain kicked in.my head my head starts throbbing and I have a tight bandage wrapped around my neck.the pain was so bad I had to rub my temples to not make me dizzy."ahh finally your awake".my dad said while setting down the pills and the water.he sits down in my fuzzy white chair I made."I'm feeling sick".i said in a very dry throaty voice."yes your neck wasn't fully healed and Luke bite to deep so you lost concesness".i try to sit up but the pain is to muh to bare so I just fall back down."woah now ou have stay Resting for a few days so no school"."what a few days".i try to yell but I fail and I just comes out as a croak.he laughs lightly."yes Luke and Joey will look after you while I'm at work"."work?""yes I start tomorrow I won't be back till 4:00 to 5:30"."oh okay".thats all i can say." Oh here this will make you feel better".he hands me both pills and the water.i place the pills on my tongue and tilt my jeans and pour the water in my mouth.i swallow and the pain In my head goes dull but it's still there.i sit straight this time without the pain hurting.i could get out bed by I walked slowly because the pain wasn't that bare able.i opened the bathroom and shut the door.i decided on taking a nice warm shower.i splash my face and walk back out to my room and see new bandages some medicine to apply to the gash in my neck, a new glass of water so more pills and extra bandages for tomorrow.i open my dresser and pick out my powder-blue shorts an matching tank top.i walk back to the bathroom and turn on the water on warm and strip of my clothes.i slowly unwrap the bandage around my neck and toss it in the trash.i exam the gash before getting in the shower.its wide but not to deep.it had a big bruise around it that has turned bluish-purple.i carefully get in the shower and wash my body and hair slowly and take my time.
After my shower I get out and put my clothes on an walk out the bathroom.i put the medicine on my gash and wrap the bandage around my neck and take two of the pills on my dresser.i push them down and go down stairs.i see Luke in the kitchen and Joey flipping through Channels .i walk in the kitchen searching for something to eat."want me to make you something?".i hear Luke say from behind me."that would be nice I'm quite hungry".i say In tired voice and a slight smile tugging at my face.i see sadness in his eyes and I know he's sorry for the pain he's cause on my neck.i sit at the table and wait patently for my food Luke is making.he comes back and has two ham and turkey sandwiches that are cut into triangles and has some patato chips on the side with a glass of sweet tea."thanks Luke"."your welcome evie".he says smiling.
After lunch I got I my room take a nice nap I was hopping for good dreams but all I got was nightmares.
