72 Hours before the Commencement of The Annual Purge.
Sometimes, the world gives us consequences we can not account for. This ever lasting thirst for blood is my eternal punishment. I am immortal. That is, until The Purge has begun.
"This year.. Will be different..." I sighed lightly while staring at myself in the mirror. 'Three days.. I don't think I was mistaken when I was told Got7 and BTS were coming to America to purge... I hope I don't run into them, it could seriously hurt their image.'
My phone violently shook on the dining room table.
'Must be Mae again.' I stepped over the edge of the ottoman. My feet finally touching the cold, black linoleum floor. A silver encrusted glitter frame hung on the wall. My sister, father, and mother, who had been killed in the very first purge. I was locked away in hypersleep.
The chamber had failed... Feeling the failure of my own chamber, I immediately ran for the basement.
'Something must have happened in order to be woken up. No one had touched my pod. There aren't any fingerprints.. but I can't go back to sleep unless I find the code. Professor Song must know the code..'
Tying my sterling silver locks into a high ponytail, I ran to grab my coat and shoes. My phone was tucked safely into the back pocket of my distressed black skinny jeans. My heels clicked on the sidewalk, Prof. Song's house couldn't be far from here.3rd Person P.O.V.
Y/n quickly trotted to Professor David Song's luxurious lab/apartment. Her shivering blue lips covered by a black face mask. Her gleaming violet eyes held a mysterious shine. She arrived, Song's car parked perfectly in the driveway. A black minivan was parked on the curb in front of the house. The girl minded the van and made her way to the front door.
"Professor Song! I need your help. My chamber.. it woke me. I need the code to fix it." Professor Song opened the door to the distressed teenager.
"Y-Y/n! I have BTS and Got7 here at the moment. Go and sit in the living room with them. I'll go down to the basement and find the code."Y/N'S P.O.V.
'Professor Song... Please hurry..' My mind raced as the 14 males that infiltrated the house stared at me.
" I suggest you keep your beady eyes off of me. I am a death machine made especially for The Purge. I do not like to be gawked at like a creature in a glass box." I bellowed. One of the boys kept his eyes on me while all others turned away.
"Why do you continue to stare?!" I yelled. He didn't flinch but instead stood up. My scythe disappeared as my face began to flush. I stepped back and tripped on the couch. He held his hand out to me.
"Kim Namjoon." He spoke. His voice was deep and gravely. I blushed harder. His eyes pierced through mine. I hesitated.
'You? Hesitating now are we Death Machine?! BAHAHAHA! What a joke.'
'Shut up! No one asked for you.'
'It's already too late for that you idiot. Who do you think woke you up? I'm the only one who knows that passcode to your miserable chamber.'
I finally touched hands with Namjoon.
"If you don't mind, may I call you Joonie?" I asked. Namjoon's eyes widened and his cheeks darkened. His pale skin now lit up like the fourth of July. It was adorable, to say the least. He shook his head.
"I don't mind at all. As long as I can call you Kitten. Hence you're feisty-ness." I growled and my eyes flashed black. Namjoon stumbled back a few steps and stopped. He looked at me with horror and shock evident on his face. I bowed and ran to the basement door across the room.
"Sorry. I came here to get a code for my hyper chamber. Something woke me up. I'm immortal. Except for the night of the Purge. You better stay away from me. I'm not someone you'd hunt with or be protected by. I kill. Not protect. I can't protect even if I tried. My apologies for being blunt."
Professor Song opened the door and handed me a notebook.
"Here Y/N. The book may have the code. I'd suggest looking through the last 30-40 pages. If you can not find it come back. Or, search the book now and I can find others." I flipped through the pages quickly. Finding no evidence of my code, I gave Professor the book back and walked up to Namjoon. I looked into his eyes.
"If you happen to need me. I'll give you a little gift, but only you. Look deep into my eyes," Namjoon leaned forward and pressed his forehead to mine, "Now, do not, and I mean DO NOT, share this. That would be kind of gross too actually.." I quickly gave him a peck on the lips and watched his eyes go completely white. His pupils soon returned as he fell to the ground unconscious. His friends and bandmates came to his aid. One tall blonde boy came up to me. His height towered mine.
"What did you do?!" He yelled at me. I grabbed his throat and squeezed enough to lessen the oxygen supply to his brain.
"I gave him a gift. It allows him to communicate with me telepathically. If you want to live, I'd suggest knowing your place around me Seokjin." I dropped the man onto the floor.
'Not everyone needs to know of the things I'm capable of.' My heart stopped once I turned around. Namjoon stood directly behind me.
"So you kissed me just for fun?" He asked staring down at me. I shook my head 'no'. Namjoon put his hand under my chin and tilted my head upwards.
"Don't worry, you'll fall for me later. I can promise you that." Namjoon walked away with a smirk playing on his face.
Revised. Since one word that was supposed to be a pun was really stupid. Anywho, I'm nearly done revising the rest of these chapters so stay tuned to see what changes and what's next~!
