"Are you alright?" He questioned. Y/n shook her head and rubbed her eyes. The woman sat up and stretched, sighing in satisfaction since her spine popped. She reached out to Namjoon, not trusting her groggy voice. His eyes softened and sat down on the bed she lie on.
She pulled him towards her and burried his face in her chest. His cheeks heated themselves as he gave in and hugged her back. He tapped her arm to signal he needed air, she let him go and felt her arms drop to her sides. The male cupped her cheeks and pressed his lips to hers. A kiss of longing was placed upon her lips. The other boys left the room, leaving the two lovers to reconcile after hours of the female being unconscious.
"What happened? What's the last thing you remember?" He asked, concern gracing his features.
"The last thing I remember is seeing Jin at the bedroom door. Did something happen after that..?" She whispered. He nodded, not wanted her to feel any worse than she currently did.
"Do you want to know what happened earlier?" She shook her head 'no'. He brought her into his arms and lied himself back onto the duvet. A sigh of pure serenity left his lips. Having the woman he loved in his arms, and her being safe with him. Y/n drew circles on his clothed chest with the tip of her finger. He was warm, something she missed having all of her life.
"What happened to you? Jin must have said something that set you off. Did you dream of anything while you were asleep?" He asked, tightening his grip slightly on her waist. She nodded and tears threatened to reveal themselves. Y/n took a deep breath, gathering the courage to explain to her lover the type of hell she had gone through.

"It started when I was 9. It was the night before the Purge and everything had gone perfectly so far. My family and I were about to move from my birth city, to live here in hopes that I would have a better education and future life. But as you can see, I didn't go to college since I'm here now." She sighed, looking into his eyes. They were soft pools of warm coffee. The kind in which you'd take a sip of to wake you up in the morning. She pecked his lips before continuing.
"There was 5 minutes. Before the Purge started."

~/Flashback/~

'7:55.' The time pasted in the clock had the whole family worrying. They had taken necessary precautions, they hadn't a clue if it had been enough. Two young daughters, Y/n, and Yuni. Both beautiful and precious. Their parents knew they had to be protected. Children growing up in a world where a whole week is dedicated to violence and murder. Bloodshed and insanity. The two little girls were prepared. The older, Y/n, who was 9 years old, was preparing her load of throwing knives. While her little sister, Yuni, was watching her.
"Unnie? What's going on?" The 5-year-old asked.
Y/n shook her head and smiled.
"Nothing Yuni. I'm just making sure I have all of my things." The little girl nodded and continued to watch. The older took her by the hand and shooed her into the living room with their parents. The living room floor was covered with different supplies.
Guns, ammunition, food, and water. The younger sister sat on the white leather couch to watch whatever her parents were doing. Y/n trotted down the stairs to the living area, passing by her sister and going into the kitchen.
"Yuni? Do you want a snack?" The little girl squealed with excitement and ran to the kitchen where her sister had gotten out peanut butter, bread, and crackers with cheese. Making a peanut butter sandwich, Y/n watched her sister jump up and down in happiness.
A loud blaring alarm rang out through the city.
