"Stop! Chris, you're hurting me!" He's never been this rough before, not in a long time. "No! Tell me who he is," he said pointing at the text on her phone with one hand, while the other lay squeezing her wrists. He was always overly jealous about other guys that just simply smile at her. "Its just Luke, you idiot! Rhiannon's boyfriend! They got in an argument and she stormed out and he wanted to know where she'd go," she said, a little bit worried he wouldn't believe her. "Whatever." He let go, bit she could see the marks where he'd been gripping her wrists. What would she tell her mum, or any of her family! She never could successfully lie to her sister, even as a kid. Well now their going to find out why she hasn't been keeping much contact. Rhiannon's been the only one she's been talking to. Then again, Rhiannon doesn't even know about this at all. "This needs to stop," she said, trying to hold back the tears as she rubbed where she had just experienced such anger from someone she once thought had loved her to an extent of not hurting her. Dhe could notice him speaking, but she couldn't care less. She needed to get out, even if that means shacking up with Rhiannon and Lover boy for a few days. Thats what she called Luke, Lover boy, because when they first met him he had just walked straight up to them and made conversation, like they've known each other since they were children, and eventually by the end of the night him and Rhiannon seemed to have a thing for each other. Since that night they had been inseparable.

"Did you hear me babe," he said while jerking her arm a little rough as she walked out of her forest of thoughts. "Don't call me that." She could see the sadness fill up in his eyes. Only 11 months ago, she couldn't get enough of that word that was directed towards her, spoken by a voice she thought was pure magic. Well, all good things come to an end right? Why not this relationship? Especially since she couldn't even bare to hear her name spoken by that heartless bastard she once called her life. She was hoping he was going to propose, but since this incident the only thing she wanted to happen to him was death. She loved the thought of his lifeless body lying in a casket while everyone he loved grieved about their loss. "I... I'm sorry, I don't know what got into me. I would've never thought of hurting you! I love you."

"You're a monster, you only care about yourself. Stay away from me." She said, trying as fast as she could to run up stairs to pack. 'Rhiannon won't care if I stay with her, but she's going to want an explanation why, and if I tell her about tonight and the past she'll go downright crazy,' Sevvyn thought. But she doesn't care, getting out was all she needed right now. As fast as she could, she got enough clothes for about 3 weeks and some money out of their stash. She ran down stairs where she found him sitting at the bottom step. "Where are you going?" "I have to get away for a while, I'll call you tomorrow to discuss what I think we should do. " She said, stopping before reached him.

"I can't exactly leave with you sitting there blocking me. Move." "You aren't going anywhere!" He said, rising to his feet. She could see the anger in his eyes. "I said I'm sorry, what do you want from me?!" "I want you to leave me alone! Stop hurting me!" She suddenly felt safer as she heard Luke's truck pull into the driveway. 'Great timing,' she thought. She watched Rhiannon jump out of the driver's seat and walk up to the door. Rhiannon slowly realized she had been crying. Just as she was going to knock, Sharese opened the door. "I'm guessing, Luke told you I was gone since you opened before I even knocked?" She said staring at the ground as if it was a sin to make eye contact with someone after crying. "No, I was just on my way out." "Oh, well where were you headed?" She said, finally deciding to look up. "Actually to your house."

"Haha! What a cawinkadink!" Rhiannon always could make Sevvyn smile, no matter how she felt. She grabbed her bags and closed the door. "What are those for?" Rhiannon asked, pointing at her duffel. "Oh, well, me and that dipshit kind of got in a fight and I was hoping I could stay with you, but I remembered what happened between you and Luke." Sharese said trying to make it sound casual so Rhiannon doesn't ask any questions. "What happened anyways?" She asked while throwing her bag in the back. "He saw this text from Niall saying he misses me. He insists that there's something going, but he won't believe me. I told him we were just friends, but he's stubborn as hell!" She said, sounding more angry by every word she spoke. Shortly after she added, "We could just stay in a hotel tonight, if thats fine with you, because I'm not going home." "Thats fine."

"So what happened between you and.. um.. Chris? What did he do this time?" "Well .. um..," Sharese spoke in an uneven toned voice. She went to rub her wrist and forgot Rhiannon was watching. The marks, about the size of a hand across both wrists, had stood out like a stain on a white shirt.

"What the hell is that, Sevvyn?!" Rhiannon said, nearly a yell as her eyes took on the shape of two green bowling balls. "I ..um.. hit the corner of a shelf." She said as she eyes the place mat covered with dirt. "Don't you fucking lie, Sevvyn! Did he hurt you?!" The anger in hee voice was worse than nails on a chalk board. Sevvyn looked up to notice Rhiannon turning into an empty parking lot. 'Oh god.'

"Where are we going?!" Sevvyn asked, her heart pounding what seemed like a thousand times per second.

"Where do you think?" 'Holy shit! No! This cannot be happening!' Rhiannon suddenly increased her speed by 20 mph. "Uhm can you ease up on that gas pedal a bit, please?"

"Why didn't you just tell me, Sevvyn? I told you when Luke was cheating on me. Why?" "I'm sorry!" Rhiannon felt that she sounded quite sincere so she eased up on the pedal a bit.

When they finally pulled in the drive way, they just sat there for what seemed like forever. Till Sevvyn noticed Rhiannon was staring at her wrist. "Don't follow me," she said as she closed the door leaving Sevvyn worried and in complete silence.
