The workers had just put up the huge tent to host Haly's Circus. The old man and owner of the circus, Haly, walked in to inspect the interior. He approved and was about to leave, he walked out to the parking lot and was walking to his limo when he was approached by a man accompanied by two very big and bulky men. The man looked down, his head covered by a fedora so no part of his face was visible. He was wearing all black, he stood out on this bright summer day, he must've been extremely warm. His chest and upper leg were covered by his long, pitch black trenchcoat. The men surrounding him were significantly taller than him, they were wearing sunglasses and were dressed in completely black suits. From a third person perspective, Haly blended in, as he was wearing a black suit as well, with a gold watch reflecting the sun's glare.

"Hi, I'm Tony Zucco, are you Haly? Owner of the circus?" He said in a grand tone.

"Yes sir I am, what can I do for you?"

"Could we maybe go somewhere more private?"

     "You can tell me here."

"Fine, I'm in a business that does protection, for a price of course, and there is always a risk of your audience getting hurt by someone who decides to come in and cause trouble, and Batman can't be there at the speed of light. If you're able to fork up fifty thousand dollars we can protect you from anyone, criminals, scumbags, even the Bat." He raised his head slightly.

"I appreciate the offer, but I don't want something like this on my reputation."

"No one's gonna know, you'll be fully protected." He held out his left hand for a handshake.

"Sorry, I don't need your protection." He said as he turned to get in the limo.

Tony's tone had completely changed and gotten a lot deeper. "Are you sure, Haly? You may want to rethink your decision."

Haly turned back around. "Is that a threat? Listen, I'm a very powerful and rich man. Back off."

"Tell me, Haly. Do you value your life, or your performer's life more?" Haly got into the limo and closed the door, Tony watched him as he was driven off.
