they work and toil all the day long,
their tears and labor has made them strong, yet they are told they still don't belong.
all they want is dignity and respect,
they have paved the way for many, let's not forget, to the immigrants from all over we owe our debt.
they work all the day long to put food on their table, they work all the day long for a beautiful fable, yet we mistreat them at the time that we are able.
what ever happened to "do good onto others?"
what ever happened to "you are all my brothers?"
what ever happened to "love all your mothers?"
apathy has overtaken you, and me.
we can't let it, we must believe. this will change one day, you'll see. it will take a lot more work from you, and me.
