An unknown feeling spread through Kim as she finished listening to Sam very carefully. Kim was in both shock and awe, she couldn't believe the legends her tribe told were true. She believed they were simple stories that were told to keep the tribe excited.
"You know." Kim's soft voice broke the silence that rested between her and her alpha, Sam, catching his attention. "I always wanted to be a spirit warrior." Sam smiled at the young, and currently the only girl of the pack. "When my mom would tell the tribes stories of our warriors to my siblings and I, I always said 'I'll be one when I'm older, so I can protect my family and tribe.' I guess my ancestors heard my wish and granted it."
A proud look rested on Kim's face as she relived her memories "And I'm glad they listened." Looking up, Kim notice her father standing next to Harry Clearwater, old Quil Ateara, Emily Young, and Billy Black. "Dad." Kim wanted to run and hug her father, she saw how proud he was of her. But she was scared that she'll phase and hurt him, just as Sam had done to his fiance, Emily.
"Come inside, we'll talk while Emily cuts your hair." Billy commented as he watched the young female shifter who stood a safe distance from them, Billy pulled the pieces that Sam must of told Kim of how important control is, and what could happen if you lose control. Nodding her head, Kim made her way inside where she was greeted with a warm, homey feeling.
Kim listened to the elders as they went into more detail than Sam had when explaining everything to her as Emily cut the young girl's hair short, so it wouldn't bug her. "Kimmy, honey. You can't tell anyone, not Nicole or Scott or Katie or your other friends. It's best of you stay away from them honey."
Kim's smile dropped, sadness and slight anger swam in her eyes "what?!" Sam moved next to Kim in case it was needed. "Calm down honey, you have to stay away from them. You just shifted, you don't have control and it's to keep them safe!" Her father said raising his voice as his youngest daughter glared at him, annoyed and angry Kim began to shake. Sam pushed Kim outside where she shifted into a white wolf, her fur now short.

She snarled her teeth as Sam tried to approach her "Enough." Sam said using his alpha voice, Kim growled and took off running into the woods. She came to the edge of a cliff and looked down, she watched as the ranging waters crashed below causing Kim to relax as she listened to the waves. She watched the reflection of the moon on the ocean in peace, but an odd scent entered her nose.
Immediately she stood on all four a growled as the sickeningly sweet smell returned and she didn't like it. Kim watched as fiere red hair zoomed near her, out of instinct Kim growled and began to chase it. Annoyed with a cold one being on her land, she feared that she was here to feed on her people and Kim wasn't going to let that happened. Kim gained up pretty quickly towards the vampire, she snarled her teeth at it and even tried to bite her.
The vampire kicked Kim in the face causing her to fall and whimper, she stood up quickly and howled into the air before chasing the red head once again. 'Kim!'
Kim heard Sam in her head, 'Kim? Who's Kim?' Kim heard and unfamiliar voice, 'Oh new pack member Paul.' Another voice said, ignoring them and trying to ignore everyone's thoughts entering her mind Kim chased the red head, moments later 3 wolves came behind Kim, all taller than the short wolf. A jet black wolf, which she knew was Sam moved to the front, leading the pack. A brown wolf to her left and a dark silver to her right followed their alpha.
Turning to look behind herself the red head noticed the wolves gaining quickly, frustration and anger escaped Kim as watched the red head dodge Sam's teeth. Growling, Kim took off running faster than the others leaving them behind 'Kim be careful' Sam growled.
Kim didn't reply but simply growled, noticing that she was very close to the leech, Kim pounced onto the red head. Snapping her teeth in her face, the red head was struggling with the white shifter as they tumbled around in the floor. Having enough of it, the vampire kicked Kim towards a rock instantly knocking her out and disappearing into the night as the other stop and surrounded the young wolf unconscious form.
Soon instead of a white wolf laying unconscious, Kim laid naked and unconscious. The three wolves shifted to their human forms and quickly placed their clothing on, Sam quickly pulled his shirt over Kim and picked her up.
"Woah, new girl hot." Paul Lahote, the biggest of the 3 males commented as he looked at Kim's unconscious form in Sam's arms. Sam glaring at Paul, and Jared Cameron, the beta of the pack smiling silently agreeing with his best friend that she was undyingly beautiful.
The 3 walked back to Emily's house in silence. Neither speaking, they were shocked that Kim, a newly turned shifter almost destroyed the vampire they've been after for a while now.
Moments later they arrived to Emily's house, where they were greeted by the counsel and Emily who ran to Sam upon seeing Kim. "What happened ?!" Emily question scared and worried for the young girl.
"Kim!" Her father, David Pain, shouted upon seeing his youngest daughter. He ran towards Sam and took her from him and ran inside, gently placing her on the couch.
"The howl, it was Kim. She crossed paths with a cold one, the one that's been difficult to catch. I don't know how but she was able to tackle and fight with it." Sam stated "But the stupid blood sucker kicked her towards a rock and knocked out sleeping beauty." Paul finished, sneering on the part of the mention of the vampire.
Jared simply stayed quiet, which was rare, as he watched the new pack member. He had a sudden urge of protectiveness over the girl he didn't know.
"Interesting." Billy simply stated as everyone had their eyes on Kim's unconscious body.
