I started working here at Arkham Asylum for over a month now. They say this place is a nightmare. Though I haven't seen it yet, but I'm afraid it'll happen soon. Whatever though. I'm sure I'll get used to this place eventually. I just hope I don't cross paths with him.

*2 weeks later*

Gordon said I would be assigned to a man named Jeremy Focks. I wonder how kind this one will be. The last ones were a pain in the ass.  Oh goodie. I can't wait. *Sarcasm*

"Star Smith, I heard many incredible things about you." He said looking through Mr. Freezes files.
"Well, I try to be good."
He laughed. "Star. I hope you do well here at the Ayslum."
He gestured himself in a more comfortable position. He handed me the file he was reading. "Here is the man you will be working with for today. His counsler isn't here. Watch out. He can be stubborn."
I look down and opened the folder. Inside the folder was a record and some pictures. I look through the pictures and  they made my stomach turn a little.

"He did all this?" I asked looking down at the picture of the bank covered in ice. About eight people were stuck in front of the bank, freezing to death.

"It wasn't just him." He said. Scooting some papers aside and clicked his pen closed.

"He has friends." He said looking at the picture of the frozen bank.

*7 minutes later*

"Well. That is all you need to know for now. Any more questions?" He asked sitting up out of his chair and heading towards the door. I never actually asked about Barb. Maybe I should.

"How is Barb doing?"

"Great!" Gordon replied. "She's just...never home. She always goes places. Comes home all worn out."

Worn out? Home late? You know, when you get that feeling that you think she's up to something. I'm getting that feeling. What could she be doing? Then again, I can't assume just yet.

"Could you say hi to her for me?" I picked up my bag and fixed my collar, then I shooked Gordon's hand.

"Of course." He said leading me out the door. I turn around to say a few more words.

"Well, Gordon. It was nice talking to you. I hope we can talk again sometime. You know, about work. But, thank you so much for getting me a job here at Arkham. It really means alot to me."

""Anytime." He said and closed to door. Walking down the hall, I see boys staring at me. Do I look funny? I ignore it and keep walking.

"He's here somewhere! I know he is!"

"He's looking for you."

The maniacs keep telling me about him. Who is he? What are they talking about? He's looking for me? I keep walking and in my head, those words repeat themselves. He's looking for you. He's here somewhere! I know he is! Don't talk to him, he's dangerous! Don't even look at him! He's not human anymore!

I ignore the voices inside my head. I start to ignore everything.
Then out of the blue.

"Hello there. Heheheheheee!"
