First Meeting

Mom: Nathalie, sweety! What's taking you so long? You have school remember?

"I am coming down now eomma!" I adjust my collar neatly and ran down to see my parents with big smile on their faces and my dongsaeng, JayLee.

Dad: Aw, look at you my angel!

My dad compliment as he came to me and peck my right cheek.

JayLee: Oooh, I love your necklace it matches our school uniform!

I smiled at her. "Thank you little sis."

JayLee: Ugh, we're on the same class Natha-

"It's eonni." I cut her off and she rolled her eyes.

"I know, I was gonna say Nathalie eonni. And you-"

I hugged mom, "We're going ok?" She hugged back, "Ok sweety."

"Bye dad!" I peck his left cheek and hastily grabbed JayLee's hand and ran out.

Dad&Mom: We love you!

I immediately replied back, "I love you too!"

JayLee and I made our way to my car.

As soon as we had our seatbelt buckled, we drove away.

The trip was quiet, and I wonder why. Usually JayLee with come up with any kinds of topic. But today, she's strangely quiet.

"Aye, what's up with you?" I asked JayLee.

She didn't reply.

"JayLee."

Nothing.

I rolled my eyes, playing hard to get huh?

"JayLee." I said sternly.

Still, no reply.

"Ugh, c'mon! Do you have to be like this on the first day of school? What's wrong with you?"

She glared at me, "You really have no idea what's wrong now do you?"

I scoffed, "Then did I have to ask? Geez, JayLee. Just tell me what's wrong. If I did something then I am sorry."

She looked back outside the window.

I sigh, " JayLee. Just tell me-"

JayLee: Why did you do that?

"Do what?" Aish, this girl will make me have a car accident.

"Why did you yanked me away immediately? You know how badly I want to hug mom and dad goodbye on the first day of school." She explained.

I sighed, "Ugh, oh my god Jay! You're a grown up now. Did you have to make a fuss over something like this?" I cannot believe she's mad because of not hugging kom&dad on the first day of school.
