Y/N's POV
I was swimming around in the ocean, as a kid my mother always told me to stay away from the land. It's to dangerous. She'd always say. I'm now 28 years old and I still go there. I figured out that if I dried off properly, I'd grow legs like a human, but I'm not, I'm a mermaid.
I was drying off on the beach until 4 men about my age walked over. As I jumped into the water one of them said "She had a tail." I hid behind a rock and one of them walked over, he had brown hair and blue eyes "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you." He said sitting down on the rock, "how do I know I can trust you?" I asked "Mermaids are natures best creation, I'd never hurt you." I moved forwards and jumped into the rock next to him. "I grow legs when I'm dry," "what?" "I grow legs when I'm dry." "Really?" "Yep." I dried off my legs. "I never got your name." He said "It's Y/N." "I'm Zachary but I like Zach better." I giggled. Zach grabbed my hand and dragged me over to his friends. "Guys, this is Y/N, Y/N, this is Maxx, Dan, and Cody." He said pointing to everyone. I waved "Isn't she the mermaid?" "Yes, but she grows legs when she's dry." "Well she's very pretty." I blushed/smiled. Zach protectively grabbed me and hissed. "Is he always like this?" I ask, only when he see's someone who he likes...." Dan said
