Prologue

You didn't read the background did you? Then be wary, because this is your last warning. None will appear afterwards. My name is Valentian Allison Summers. Yes, I'm a girl, in case you were wondering or if you are just stupid enough to not know it. I'm a 16 year old adopted adolescent girl, whose beautiful but not popular and I'm single in case you're a boy looking for someone. Ok, you know what, scratch that. I don't want to date. At least not now anyway.

So back to the reason why I'm going to tell you everything that I'm about to tell you. If you're reading this, then you probably just literally put your life at risk. So to understand everything that I'm about to tell you, whoever is reading this bullshit (Goddamn it. I don't even know why I'm writing this in the first place), you are going to have to pay extreme close attention, and just incase you don't read, close this book right now!

Now, if you did not close it, then let me begin to take you into a journey where some things may seem familiar to you and some others may not. Enjoy it, if you can because for the most part I did not enjoy it. Being what I am totally sucks. And by the way if you think this introduction is similar to the first Percy Jackson book, I'm going to admit I got inspired by him to make one.

CHAPTER 1: The Typical New Kid

 (Austin City, August 28, 2017)

First day of school of my High school Junior year. As usual I pick the front left corner of the desk that's in front of the teacher's desk. That way I can concentrate more and make more difficult for anyone to bother me.

I have a good GPA to get me into any college I want but honestly I still need a little more of outside activity. Especially on my social skills. I suck at that completely. I only have one friend and her name is Emily Watch. They call her family The Watchers because it sounds more badass and a little bit terrifying. And to be honest that is kind of true. Sometimes even I get a little bit afraid. But one gets used to it.

Well right now, we are so stuck in chemistry class. Though I also have a good grade on it, it is one of my least favorite classes of all time even though we kind of do use it for daily life. That's one of the reasons it keeps me up.

Once we are in place, and the teacher gets ready to handout refresh the mind tests that don't count but gives us a jump-start to refresh our minds, the principal knocks with a boy standing behind him. "Sorry to interrupt you, Ms. Worth. I just wanted to bring in your new student." The principal says. His name is Pete Ryan by the way. I'm not describing him or anyone so just feel free to imagine him and everyone else the way you want. I don't care.

"And who might my new student be?" Ms. Worth asks. "His name Ben Wick." Principal Ryan says. "Just like John Wick. You related?" Ms. Worth jokes. Ben laughed. "I wish." He says in an awkward tone. She smiles. "Come on in, Ben. Welcome to chemistry class." Ms. Worth says welcoming him. "Make him feel comfortable everybody." Principal Ryan says and shuts the door behind him and heads back to his lame-ass office.

"You may sit behind young Allison, if you wish." Ms. Worth said. "Sure. No problem." Ben says as he looks at me. I kind of blush and wave a small hello. He smiles back and sits behind me as the teacher offered.

I turn to him and introduce myself. "Hey." I say. "Hello there." He says. Honestly I'm kind of surprised that his first words to me are an Obi-Wan quote. "General Kenobi." I answer. He smiles at me and holds his laugh and says; "Finally! I'm not the only Star Wars nerd." He says exited. "You'd be surprised." I say. He smiles.

"So your name is John Wick... uh, I mean Ben Wick, right?" I ask awkwardly. I can't believe I just confused his name with John Wick. Keanu Reeves was a total badass in those movies.
