When I stepped through the portal, I almost wished I could turn around and go right back to the fields behind my house. Instead, I forced my feet to move and walked to the gate. The guards opened their mouths, but I cut them off.
"I'm Katherine Wilen Ortesia," I informed them. Surprise flitted across their faces, but they opened the gates and let me through. I walked in with my head held high and set myself on finding someone I knew. I had to find out which room I'd be using, after all.
It just so happened that I found Cora and Tristam first. Their backs were facing me, so I decided to be mischievous. I silently snuck up behind the wolves as they walked without speaking through the gardens. As I got closer, I saw that they were holding hands.
Aww! I sighed mentally. Then I resumed sneaking. When I was literally right behind them, I yelled out,"ALPHA COUPLE ALERT!!!"
I was nearly on the ground with laughter when both werewolves jumped 3 feet in the air! When they landed, glaring at me of course, I huffed in between laughs,"You....should've seen.....your faces! HA!"
At this point, I had two very annoyed werewolves death-glaring at me! When I finally stopped laughing, Cora spoke up. "Nice to see you, too, Kath," she greeted sarcastically.
"Why do you feel like you need to say that, Cora?" I inquired innocently,"I already know that it's nice to see me." Then I let a genuine smile spread across my face as I prodded Cora's side gently, saying,"Come on, you know you missed me."
She let out a small smile as Christian gave me a look that said, "What's wrong with your head?"
I focused back on Cora as she admitted,"Maybe I missed you a little bit."
I raised a sly eyebrow at her and questioned,"Just a little?"
"Okay!" Cora burst out, and wide smiles took over both our faces as she admitted,"I missed you to the ends of the dimensions! Happy now?"
"Very," I replied all silly-like. Then I smiled again and pulled my friend into a BIG HUG!
We laughed and chatted as I walked back to the CLT(Castle Lost In Time) next to the alpha couple. When we reached the gate, I lifted the invisibility spell on my bag, surprising the wolves, and asked,"So, which room am I staying in?"
"You're staying?" Cora asked, shock in her voice. Christian looked just as surprised.
"I'm staying for the weekend," I clarified,"Just a visit before I have to get back on Monday."
"Monday?" Christian inquired.
"School," I explained. Then I turned to Cora and joked,"Not all of us get to spend all our time running around as furry forest creatures." The three of us let out a small laugh before Christian spoke up.
"We'll need to ask Antonio which rooms are open."

"Are you sure we need to ask Antonio?" I questioned Cora nervously,"I mean, can't I just run around with your pack for the weekend?"
"No," she replied firmly as she dragged me toward the training yard,"Antonio needs to see you. He's been worrying constantly. It's annoying!"
"Fine," I pouted, and I followed her out to the training fields. I couldn't help but look at the fighters around us as we walked, and I noticed a slim girl that was failing miserably at defeating the bigger girl she was paired with. I tugged on Cora's arm and motioned with my head to the pair. She nodded and released me, and I walked over, stopping to observe when I got there. After a minute, I stepped in, tapping both girls' shoulders to get their attention.
