" Paintbrushes....where the hell are my paintbrushes!"

Jungkook was spending what was supposed to be a relaxing Sunday stressing over art supplies and where they were. It wasn't like they could go far, judging by his very compact apartment, he should've found them no problem. But of course for anxiety-ridden Jungkook, it was a bit more of a hastle.

"Gotcha!" he had found them, "Ahh...exactly where i put them."

Jungkook was just your average, mediocre person....except when he painted. He turned into a mad man; misplacing his supplies, pondering for hours on what to create, and stomping around in rage when he couldn't think of an idea good enough. And today was no exception.

He wanted to spend his Sunday painting, or to put it the blunt way, forcing himself to waste his time thinking of what to paint and never actually coming anywhere close to an idea. You see, Jungkook had been stuck in this predicament for what seemed like years now. He would usually just shrug it off and say he was just having an "off day", but of course everyday certainly can't be an "off day".

The boy had no inspiration, and he knew it....deep inside that clustered mind he knew he had no hope. But he'd somehow always convince himself that maybe there was a chance.

One day it will come to me. I just have to wait

Soon enough during his thinking process, his stomach started to growl. He looked in his fridge only to find nothing but a few eggs, some condiments, and a slice of cheese that was starting to mold.

Wow don't i live glamorously

He decided that his thinking could wait for a couple hours so he could go pick up some food. He got ready by just brushing his fingers through his very dark and almost too long hair, changing into distressed jeans and a plain white t-shirt, and mentally preparing himself for the probable human interaction he would have to face.

As soon as the elevator doors opened to his main floor the probable interaction was now a fact as he saw one of his neighbors standing right in front of him.

oh god here we go

"Well look who it is! Its good 'ol Mr.Sunshine himself!"

"Can it, Helmet Head" Jungkook spat as he tried to get past the boy, only to be held back by strong arms.

"Oh come on! Don't act like you're not gushing with happiness when you see me"

"Seriously Taehyung, I doubt even your parents feel that way about you"

This type of conversation seemed pretty harsh for people that lived in the same building together, but it was second nature for the two polar opposites. Jungkook was a very serious person. He rarely joked around and despite his usual messy appearance, was OCD about many things. Taehyung on the other hand, was more spontaneous and silly, joking at even the worst moments. He almost looked at life itself as a big joke....just another thing to laugh at. Jungkook couldn't stand Taehyung and Taehyung couldn't stand Jungkook.

"Now, are you done blocking my way? I have more important things to tend to"

With that, Taehyung slowly stepped aside and motioned the direction out with the swoop of his arm like he was leading a princess to her carriage. Jungkook played along and looked at Taehyung making the biggest, most sarcastic smile he could as he walked away from him.

What an idiot, he's the most annoying thing i've ever encountered

Taehyung thought the same
