Last Words

"I still don't get what she meant, when she said hers was gone. Does that mean she is never coming back to us?" I asked Roxy as we walked to the cave. I could tell people were getting annoyed with me not letting go of what happened a week or two ago.

"I don't know! Please, just stop asking me!" Roxy saw that her harsh words hurt me, and so she looked at me and apologised. "I'm sorry, I have just had a lot to do since Rose....... yeah. I don't know if she is coming back out of that shrine, all I know is we shouldn't go over there."

Roxy walked off and I decided to ask Ocean. Me and Rose had become very close over the last few weeks of saving each other, and now I wanted to know how to save her. I wanted her back. I headed off to Ocean's room and found her dancing by the water. I k locked and she got startled and fell over. I laughed and she blushed. "Oops. What brings you here, Cinder. Wait, let me guess...... Rose."

"Yes. Do you know anything?" I asked with pleading eyes. I would not leave a member of my family behind no matter what. Unless they tried to destroy my other family members, too. But even thought Rose turned evil, if we can get her our of the shrine and try to fix it, we can save her.

"I actually was about to come speak with you. I did some research and I now know that we cannot, I repeat cannot no matter what set her free. I was looking into the things that Love would give to Rose, and it turns out that she- she is more evil then we thought. The other times she has attacked she never tried to kill anyone, she just wanted to do some bad things, but now she is seeking out our blood. She wants to kill us all and she so powerful that if we let her out she will."

"What?" I asked startled and shocked. I had just lost my sister...... forever. We all had. To someone.... no something that took place in her body.

"Her power will grow stronger if we let her out. We cannot risk it, so I am afraid to say, but we may have just lost Rose. She is the strongest one of us all, no offense, and we cannot take her down. She needs to stay in that shrine and then maybe one day we will find a way, but for now we do not have one, so whatever you do DO NOT CRACK THE GEM! Then she will be free and kill all the Elements and all of the human beings we have sworn to protect!"

"I understand." I was mad about it, but the truth was I did understand. Rose was no longer the same, and we were being attacked a lot more lately, we didn't have time to deal with our own sister as an enemy. I promised to Rose that I would find a way, but for now she would have to wait. I had a lot of training and fighting to do lately.

I walked off to the room my Element had created for me. It was a beautiful cave section with red walls and a beautiful red bed, it had a lovely red dresser and nightstand. I was getting sick of the color red. I could no longer go back to see my family now that I was missing. Never, and I really missed them, but that was part of the deal of protecting humanity. I was picked, so I would make the sacrifices I needed to.

I decided I would walk around town for a while, see if there was any trouble that needed attending to, but I had to be careful not to run into anyone I knew, or who knew me. I got out of the forest and pulled the black hoodie I was wearing over my face. I continued trudging along until I heard a scream from the alley.

I ran down through the alley and saw a girl hovering over a boy my age. The girl had fangs and a snake tongue. I had met destroyer like these before. They lured boys into their traps and then ate there blood, kind of like a vampire. I immediately recognized the boy. It was my old best friend, Daniel.

I ran up to the Snake person, and kicked it in the jaw. The snake turned away and slashed at me. I was able to dodge it, but she then punched me in the gut. I went flying back into a wall. I rubbed my shoulder and winced. After a minute I shrugged it off. Being the firecracker I am, I couldn't let anyone beat me. I got up and kicked her this time in the gut and she fell down.
