You sat on the Ampora's sofa, one fish on either side of you. Dualscar had decided he wanted no part of this hours ago, and disappeared off to his 'respite block,' to sleep. With two of you there either very bored and almost falling asleep and one of you completely absorbed in the movie, there was dead silence in the living room so Dualscar could sleep like the dead tonight.

You were glad Eridan had stocked up on popcorn after you complained about not having any last time you did this. The large bucket sat comfortably in your lap as you occasionally reached in to pull some of the buttery snack out for yourself, you made a game of it. You'd try to find the kernels that weren't popped at the bottom and you'd throw them one by one at the TV and see how long it would take Eridan to notice that you were throwing something. So far it's taken well... An hour.

Cronus smirked from beside you. He was resting one of his arm's on the arm of the sofa, his body leaning against it. Eridan's eyes were still glued to the TV screen, oblivious to the presence of his least favourite person in the entire world. Cronus decided now was the best time to put his scheme into place and reached across to the popcorn bucket sitting in your lap.

You noticed his hand moving after peeling yourself from the screen. You had just hit that girl who seems really nice but everyone pins as a know it all smack bang in the nose with a corn kernel. Eridan still hasn't noticed. You blushed madly at the offending hand and glared at Cronus. He only smirked at you so you dropped the popcorn bucket down on the ground. If he wanted it he'd have to bend over and get it now, you knew what he was up to.

"You knowv, there is more than one use for that bucket."

Suddenly, Eridan couldn't care less about the movie after hearing that comment from his brother. He was disgusted, out of all of the girls the greaser fish could've tried to pick up, out of all of the girls he could've said that to he went for you - his moirail-! It was seriously fucked up, not to mention revolting. He could feel vomit coursing up his throat like water sliding down a waterslide and shot Cronus a disgusted look and you glanced - confused - between the two of them.

It seemed as if there was some unspoken secret between the two of them and you continued to glance off into space or try to pull your mind onto another thought before it kept traveling back to what exactly Cronus meant. You'd have to ask him later.

A whole movie and a half later, you had begun to grow pretty sleepy. Eridan's eyes were still glued to the screen, bags underneath them, but he refused to stop watching. Cronus was already snoring, in fact he had fallen asleep a good hour ago. So you lent back on the sofa, a huge fluffy blanket covering you. Your eyelids were unbearably heavy, and eventually you fell asleep.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You woke up surprisingly warm before a strange movement from beside you made you really wake yourself up. Your eyes to snap towards whatever was moving and you notice a grey arm flung around your shoulders, allowing your eyes to follow it back to whoever the arm belonged to.

Your eyes widened and a blush crept it's way back on to your cheeks. Cronus had pulled you practically on to his body. His mouth hung slightly open, you could see his sharp sea dweller teeth as he snored in his sleep. He hugged you as if you were a teddy bear. His personality was completely different, almost like he forgot who he was as he slept.

One of Cronus' eyes opened lazily, the white orb focusing on your face. He noticed how close you were, and the blush on your face and much to your surprise, one of a familiar colour decorated his cheeks. He jumped up, practically falling off of the couch and apologizing a thousand times over. He really had been knocked on the head.

Eridan was still asleep beside you, and in an effort not to wake him up, you stood and walked quietly and slowly into the kitchen, following close behind Cronus after he had stood from the floor and stopped apologizing. Dualscar sat with his usual cup of coffee, reading a newspaper like he always did. It's how he earned the nickname you gave him, Dadscar, because he was your everyday cliche father figure. Except he was an Alternian troll.

Cronus poured milk into a bowl of cereal he had made. He took a spoon out of one of the drawers and dropped it into the bowl. You had begun to get the ingredients for your breakfast as he walked out of the room.

 That was until...

You squeaked, feeling something pinch you in a place you'd rather not be pinched. Your head practically snapped around, noticing Cronus smirking as he walked away. He's gone back to being exactly the way he was before he had fallen asleep and it's this that makes you snicker.

Just another day at the Ampora's.

-------------------------Time skip brought to you by soothing Jazz music--------------------------------------

You had just finished changing back into the clothes you had from yesterday. Though it felt gross to be wearing them again, you didn't have much of a choice. You picked up your bag you had brought straight from school and prepared to leave the house, you knew your parents would be expecting you back soon. You thanked Dualscar for letting you stay at his place and waved to Eridan who lifted his pointy noise from his phone and waved back at you.

As you stepped out of the house, the cold air instantly nipped at your nose. Cronus stood leaning against one of the outside walls of the house, a cigarette in between his fingers again. One of his hands was stuffed into the pocket of a jacket he was wearing, while the other one took the cigarette out of his mouth and dropped it onto the ground. He put it out when he noticed you, he knew the things could give humans cancer, and he didn't want that for you.

"Leavwing so soon?"

"Gotta get home at some point." You laughed.

Cronus smiled at you, "Vwhy don't I keep you company?"
