I walked side to side nervously in my room, I had texted (Y/N) and asked her to meet me at the park under the big tree, I heard a knock on the door and let who it was in. "Oh, hey mom" she looked at me and smiled "Ooo...who's the lucky gal". I smiled and playfully rolled my eyes "I'm planning on asking (Y/N) out to prom and the guys are helping me out," she had a huge smile on her face "Aww... Well I hope she says yes" I heard my phone ding and it was a text from Bryce saying everything was ready "Well I've got to go bye mom." I ran to the door as I hear my mom yell "Tell me everything that happens I must know!" I smiled as I got to my car but I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see our neighbor.
"excuse me but are you Ryan," I nodded my head and he handed me an envelope "our mail got mixed up and I wanted to return it." I thanked him and looked down at it, I put it in the pocket of my tux and got in my car and went off to the park.

I took one last look in the mirror, once satisfied I ran downstairs. "Where do you think you're going dressed up so niced" I looked to see my mom in the kitchen, "Uh.. Ryan wanted to meet me at the park for a date." She looked at me "You know your dad won't be happy if he finds out you're out late." I sighed knowing she wasn't going to let me go. "So what's going to happen is I'll keep him busy while you're out." I smiled at her and gave her a hug "Thanks mom, I'll be home soon," I said bye to her and walked to the park.
TIME SKIP
I walked up the hill to where the tree was, and what saw surprised me. There was a blanket and food laid all over it, there was also some lit candles, which kinda seemed to much on my point of view.
I sat on the plad blanket and waited that is until I heard the sound of music. (Play the song)
I turned towards the sound to see Ryan he was stand next to Bryce who was holding a banner and Jon who was carrying a boombox over his head which made me giggle.

I smiled at him and gave him a hug "I'd love to go to prom with you." I kissed him on the cheek and we ate the food. Before we were about to leave when he stopped "Hold on I got you something and I left it in my car I'll be right back." I nodded my head, and he left to get the surprise.
I decided to grab his jacket and put it over me, I put my hands in the pockets and felt something. I took it out and looked at it, I really shouldn't go through his thing, but curiosity got the best of me and I opened the letter.
