A painful realization

I ran through the forest to find Maou. Dammit....why can't he just move on!? When I found him he was sitting on a tree stump throwing some rocks. I decided to just be straight forward and walked up to him.

"Are you going to be ok?" I asked him, he obviously wasn't at the moment. "I guess...just..why...why dont you like me?" He said sounding hurt. I signed and twirled my (H/C) hair around my finger. "I do like you...but only as a friend..Your amazing!" I said slowly. He shook his head. "How am I amazing..."

"I was afraid you were gonna ask that..oh I know! Your smart, funny, brave, and...your a good friend" I responded back.

He looked up at me and looked as though he might cry. Maou sighed and stood up, wiping his eyes. After a few more seconds he regained his cheesy smile and looked over to me. "Thanks...and can we pretend this whole obsessive crush thing never happened, and go back to being friends?" He asked scratching the back of his head. I smiled brightly
"I would like that!" I hugged him tightly and we walked back to the apartment.

~timeskip to the apartment~

"And then she stalked me for about a week and Lucifer bought all of this stuff on her credit card!" Maou said laughing as we entered his small apartment. "That does sound like Emi" I said laughing as well. After that Maou went to read his manga while Ashiya was cooking. I sat next to Uru not knowing what to say.

"Hey" he said breaking the awkward silence. "Hey" I said back to him smiling. He merely stayed focused on the screen of his video game. Then I felt an arm snake around my waist.  Luci pulled me closer to him and I rested my head on his shoulder.

He was playing some kind of fighting game and was really good at it. Wow..he's so cute when he's focused on a video game like that.

"Luci-" my question was cut off by his perfect lips colliding with mine. I was shocked at first, and a little flustered but I eventually kissed back. His arm reached around my neck and just as I went to move closer to him someone cleared their throat.

We pulled away and I felt my cheeks heat up.
"I-I'll....g-go back..t-to my apartment...bye" I said awkwardly before stepping out.
I returned to my apartment and giggled insanely, and after about ten minutes of that I fell asleep.
