Future Boy - A FroZres Fanfiction

Chapter 1

Nick was a young scientist who was working with his team to create a time machine.

They were so close too! Just a few more adjustments and they would be set to test it.

Nick kissed his girlfriend on the cheek and watched as one of his fellow friends, Bill, went over to everybody with a remote.

"Alright Nick, let's test it!" Bill said with excitement, and Nick nodded. He stepped into the machine, buckled up, and gave a thumbs up.

Bill hit the button, and nothing sadly happened.

Nick got unbuckled and checked one of the panels of wires to see if something went wrong.

"Oh, you forgot the batteries in the control." Nick's girlfriend said, and Bill nodded.

Nick wasn't paying attention, since he was now closing up a control panel. Bill hit the button again and Nick looked them all one last time before he never saw them again.

His girlfriend was kissing and holding Bill's hand. He knew it!

Before he could say anything. he was zapped off into the future.

Nick looked around as the time machine stopped. It was the lab, but it was broken down.

He stepped out and found a strange briefcase, and opened it up to find the cash of the future. Helpful.

He put some of the cash in his pockets, then took the briefcase with the rest of the cash. Just as he was about to leave, a yellow man ran into the room, and then quickly shut the door.

The man panted a bit before looking at Nick, and ran over to him. "Don't ask questions, just hide in here with me!" The guy said, pushing Nick towards a closet.

"O-Okay..?" Nick agreed and went into the closet without argument. It was a tight squeeze, mostly because of the briefcase.

"Did you take some money out of this?" The guy asked, and Nick nodded. "Good, you look like you need it." The stranger threw the briefcase out of the closet and then made sure to lock the door.

"W-Why do you say that?" Nick asked, and the man looked at him.

"You're Nick, the promised man of the future. I uh, followed the story and well it seems like everybody forgot about it after 1,000 years."

"It's been that long? Holy crap, so it's 3017?"

"Yep. Oh, my name's Tommy by the way, and that briefcase contained cash I stole from a few 'friends' of mine, now-"

They heard loud footsteps, metallic ones, at that. Tommy covered both of their mouths with his hands and they listened to the conversation. Nick noticed a small hatch in the floor, and smirked. His old escape hatch.

He opened it up, and looked up at Tommy. "Hey, let's go!" He whispered, and Tommy nodded quickly.

They went through the hatch and out into the street, since the hatch led right to the back of the building.

"You saved my butt there, Nick. Thanks." Tommy smiled, and Nick smiled as well.

"No problem. Hey, how about you show me around this future city?" Nick asked, and Tommy nodded eagerly.

"Well, looks like we couldn't find him." A voice said, and Tommy panicked.

"Quick, don't let them see me!" Tommy yelled in a whisper tone, and Nick panicked as well. Where? There was no where to-

He ended up kissing Tommy, cupping both sides of his face so the men who were after Tommy wouldn't see his face.

They walked passed, and Nick broke the kiss. "I-I-I'm sorry, I panicked..."

"I-It's fine, l-let me show you around."

So Tommy gave Nick a tour of the city, showing him mostly where the bars and science labs were.

Tommy stopped in front of a building and checked his watch. "Well, I'm late for work, c'mon I'll show you around." Tommy went into the building, and Nick followed close behind.

"Wow, what do you do here?" Nick asked, and Tommy shrugged.

"I just sit around and watch TV, but my actual job is package delivery, oh, here comes the boss." Tommy said, and pointed to a man with a camera face walking towards them.

"Late as ever, I see. Oh, who's your friend?" The guy asked, and Tommy wrapped an arm around him.

"This is Nick, you know, the future boy, the guy I've always desired to meet. Oh, Nick, this is my boss, Cory." Tommy introduced the two, and they shook hands.

"Nice to meet you Nick, hmm, how would you like a job here? Seeing as you'd clearly be unemployed." Cory asked, and Nick nodded.

"That would be great, thank you!" Nick smiled, and Cory had him follow him to do some paperwork to officially hire the guy.

Nick found Tommy sitting on the couch later that evening, and sat down next to  him.

"So, how did it go?" Tommy asked, and Nick shrugged.

"I think it went pretty okay, have you been watching TV for the last few hours?" Nick asked, and Tommy nodded with a grin.

Suddenly, a woman with red hair stormed into the room and looked at Tommy with a glare.

"Where were you? I was stuck delivering a package on my own for two days!" The woman asked, and Tommy sheepishly looked at her.

"I was uh- waiting for this guy!" Tommy wrapped an arm around Nick. "This is the future boy, Ashlie! You know, the guy I've always wanted to meet?"

"Ohh, you mean the 'Oh Ashlie he's so hot I wish I could kiss him mwah mwah mwah' guy?" Ashlie mimicked Tommy kissing a picture of Nick, and Tommy flushed red.

"S-S-Shut up!" Well, at least he wasn't denying it. "H-He didn't need to know..."

"Well, I guess I'm glad I do know, at least our kiss earlier isn't that awkward now." Nick laughed a bit, and before anybody else could get in a word, Cory walked in with a package.

"Hey, Tommy, Nick, you need to deliver this package to Xerxhi 5. Ashlie gets a break from being away for two days on a delivery." Cory handed the package to Nick, and looked at Tommy with a questioning look.

"What are you looking at, freak?" Tommy asked, and Cory sighed.

"You'll need a pilot. I forgot that Tommy has a horrible time flying." Cory said, and pressed a button.

In a flash, a pug with the body structures of a human came into the room. The pug also had blue hair, which was odd. But then again, it was the future.

"Uni, help Tommy and our new recruit Nick on their delivery by flying them to the location." Cory commanded, and Uni nodded.

"Yes sir!" Uni hurried off to the ship, and Tommy followed, grabbing Nick's hand and dragged him along.

Nick couldn't wait to see how this delivery went.
