yongsun giggles, almost tripping over her dress.
"you know, they say the future spouses aren't supposed to see each other before the wedding."
byul rolls her eyes.
"it's fine, yongsun. couldn't keep myself away even if i wanted to."
byul reaches up and boops yongsun's nose lightly.
"you're too cute, honestly," byul murmurs, distracted. "it's not fair."
yongsun's face brightens in a smile, and byul kisses her lightly.
"so after we get married and all, where d'you wanna go?"
yongsun pretends to think, before answering quietly.
"you know where, byul."
byul smiles.
then it's hours later, and byul is dragging yongsun away from the chapel. it's 3 in the morning and neither of them particularly want to be awake, but they pull themselves down the street towards byul's house.
yongsun can't stop the laughter that escapes her, high-pitched and carefree, as she trips and falls onto byul, hands clinging onto the front of byul's shirt on instinct. byul grins and pulls her up.
they reach byul's house and in 2 minutes flat, they're on the roof and panting.
byul plops herself down, sitting cross-legged. yongsun brings her knees to her chest, and they sit quietly.
byul's hand reaches around yongsun's waist and pulls her closer. their sides touch, and byul's head is on yongsun's shoulder.
"i love you."
yongsun's eyes are bright, shining, and in love as the sun rises to meet them.
"i love you too."
