Won't Say I'm in Love

Really we should've known this day was coming. I'm surprised that it didn't happen sooner.

Adrien rejects Marinette. He feels bad later and tries to comfort her.

After many months of visiting her he realises that he has started to fall in love with her. Marinette has come to the same conclusions, but doesn't want to be hurt again so tries to deny it.

Alya and Tikki try to make her see reason.

That is the entire basis of this story.

Marinette sighed quietly as she shut her window as Cat Noir left. 

Unknown to her, Alya and Tikki sat together below her bed.

If there's a prize for rotten judgement,
I guess I've already won that

Alya and Tikki jumped at Marinette's sudden song. Then they perked up. Maybe she would finally admit she was falling in love with Cat Noir.

No man is worth the aggravation
That's ancient history,
Been there
Felt that

Tikki glared at the girl from where she was sitting on Alya's shoulder.

Before she decided she would convince Marinette that she really does love her silly Cat.

Tikki flew up and opened her mouth

Who'd ya think you're kidding?
He's the earth and heaven to ya

Marinette jumped, not having realised she had an audience.

Alya on the other hand caught onto what Tikki was doing and joined in.

Try to keep it hidden, honey, we can see right through ya

Marinette blushed lightly.

Girl, ya can't conceal it
We know how you're feelin', who you're thinking of

Marinette blushed even more before turning away from the both of them, intent on denying it. There is no way she would ever say those words.

No chance, no way, I won't say it, no, no

Alya grinned cheekily.

You swoon, you sigh

Marinette opened her mouth to protest but Tikki cut her off.

Why deny it, uh oh

Tikki looked at Marinette in a conspiratorial  way that made Marinette want to scoff.

It's too...cliché
I won't say I'm in love

The other two grinned brightly to each other, she had said them in a way! It was small but it was progress.

Marinette meanwhile was blushing furiously, she couldn't believe she had just said that! It was a complete accident.

With an almost defeated sigh Marinette continued.

I thought my heart had learned its lesson
It feels so good when ya start out
My head is screaming, "Get a grip, girl!
"Unless you're dying to cry your heart out!"

Tikki looked at her charge sadly first love can hurt.

Alya felt for her too, but wanted Marinette to at least admit that she had feelings for him.

You keep on denying
Who you are and how you're feelin'
Baby, we're not lying, hon', we saw ya hit the ceiling

Alya referred to all the times after Adrien had rejected her that she would defend Cat Noir and blush madly whenever Alya teased her about it.

Face it like a grown up
When ya gonna own up that ya got, got, got it bad?

Marinette blushed and rolled her eyes.

Whoa

Her friends smirked deviously, they would get her to say it, one way or another.

Give up, give in
Check the grin, you're in love!

Tikki sang cheekily referring to the absentminded smile Marinette currently had on her face.

In harmony Tikki and Alya continued.

You're doing flips, read our lips you're in love

Marinette rolled her eyes, as she twirled around to face the two females still in the window sill.

None of them had even noticed they had traveled onto the balcony.

Marinette flung her arm behind her in the universal 'You're Out!' sign.

Get off my case

She was actually getting kind of annoyed that they wouldn't leave it alone.

By now it sounded more like she was trying to convince herself that she didn't love her silly pun loving Cat.

Her friends advanced on her even more.

Give up, give in
Check the grin, you're in love!

Tikki flew up beside her head and poked her still smiling cheek.

The scene won't play

Marinette pushed Tikki away from her face pretended to press pause on an imaginary remote.

Alya could sense they were close to a break through and pushed just a little farther.

You're doing flips read our lips you're in love

Marinette shook her head in refusal.

You're way off base
I won't say it

To loosen up a bit Alya twirled Marinette.

As she let go Alya called out softly.

Girl, don't be proud, it's OK, you're in love

Marinette pretended to block her ears.

The scene won't play

Alya and Tikki saw a figure stand up from a near by building and start to head over. With a smirk, both left the balcony. Making sure that Marinette didn't see, it was easy considering she had started staring at some of her flowers.

Ooooooh
At least out loud
I won't say I'm in... love

Marinette twirled a flower in her fingers as she heard boots lands softly on her balcony. She was so nervous about how much he had heard that she almost missed his question.

"So who are you in love with M'Lady?"
