You: im at the airport

You: where are you?

Jimin: at security

You: im coming there

You ran as fast as you could to see Jimin off. You rushed past the bustling people to find him. You were missing class, but you didn't care. There was no way you weren't going to see your best friend, maybe more, off.

Upon finally seeing him, you shove your phone in your pocket and run up to him, holding him in a firm hug.

"Are you really leaving?" you ask into his shoulder.

He nods sadly as he hugs you back, his head leaning on yours.

"For how long?"

"I'm not sure. I won't be coming back soon though."

"You can't leave," you beg. "Please stay." Tears threaten to leak out of your eyes.

"My parents won't let me," he sighs, stroking your scalp soothingly.

"If you're moving because of Naomi then I'll shank a bítch," you say, half joking, half serious.

He chuckles into your hair. "No, it's completely my parent's decision. I have no say in this."

"You can't even finish the year?"

He shakes his head. "I'm sorry."

"There's no need to be."

"I've let you down."

"No you haven't," you say, pulling back and looking into his eyes. "I was just kind of shocked, that's all." You avert your eyes to the ground. "Did you really mean what you said last week? About the whole cliche thing?"

His face turns red and you chuckle. "Uh.. Y-yeah."

You grin at him and reply, "Well I've kind of liked you for a while too."

He smiles as he hugs you once more.

"I've gotta go now," he whispers into your ear. "My parents are waiting for me at the terminal already."

"Yeah, I should get going too," you whisper back, secretly not wanting to break your hug apart.

"Y/n?" he asks.

"Yes?"

"Do you promise to keep in touch?"

"Yep."

"Do you promise we'll talk every day, if not, every other day?"

"Yes," you chuckle.

"Do you promise to stay by my side forever?"

"Of course." You smile and he grins back at you.

He sticks out his pinky. "Pinky promise?"

His cheesiness makes you giddy on the inside. Linking his pinky with yours, you whisper loudly enough for him to hear, "Pinky promise."

thanks for sticking with me on this mess of a book. i didn't know how to end it and this is the best thing i could think of :,) i wasn't planning on making a sequel, but if you want to see one then ill take it into consideration :,) see y'all in my other books :))
