At Krissys House

Chapter 2

I ran after her. I could feel Becky glance at me as if she was to say what the hell are you doing Alex, but I didn't care I had to find out what was wrong with this girl.

"Wait, where are you going?" Becky asked

I didn't answer. The girl was running faster and faster something was following her, but I still didn't know what it was.

Finally she stopped

"There is is" she screamed at the top of her lungs.

I turned. There was nothing there.

"There what is?" I asked

She didn't say anything she just shook her head slowly

"What's your name?" I asked.

"My names Krissy" she said faintly with a tear in her eye.

I wanted to be at home, I was scared of what was happening. But I knew I had to help this girl, I couldn't show my fear otherwise things where just going to get worse.

"C,mon I'll take you home" I say

We walk to her house, we walk up the stairs, where standing at the door and she's about to go in.

"Stay" she says

"Where are your parents?" I ask

"Up there."

I wasn't sure what she meant but I went into the house with her. She went to bed and I lay on the couch. I lay all night thinking what was she talking about, what did she mean.

"Aaaaaaarrrrr"

I heard a scream. I ran up the stairs and into her room. Once again the girl was in tears. She was staring at the cupboard, she wouldn't look at me.

"Who's there?" I ask

She cries. Her eyes were looking side to side of the room. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't just leave this girl alone. Could I? I waited with her until she finally fell asleep. Then I walked back down stairs and lay back on the couch.

In the morning I asked her what she saw. Once again she didn't reply. She just ran away. I didn't see her for a long time after that. I wondered, where did she go. What was her problem? Did I do something wrong?

The next couple of weeks went by, I went to school like I always did and I was beginning to forget about Krissy
