A beautiful woman with long and pure white hair was standing on a cliff full of beautiful and colourful flowers. The fresh grass of the summer was tickling her bare feet, while a soft night breeze made her locks dance and her long white dress flow. The sky was a calming dark blue, with sparkling silver stars scattered across it. In the middle of the midnight blue blanket above the world, there was a silver full moon, smiling down at the sleeping creatures below it.

In her pale arms, the woman was cradling a bundle of blankets. Soon, a soft yawn could be heard, as a small and pale arm reached out and played with the dancing strands of her hair. The woman's soft rosy lips curled into a sweet and caring smile, as her shiny golden eyes looked down at her daughter. She nuzzled the baby's nose with her own, before giving her a kiss on the head. Her voice was so angelic, so caring and kind, as she lulled the child back to sleep.

"Lullay moon princess, goodnight Daughter mine; And rest now in moonlight's embrace... Bear up my lullaby, winds of the earth; Through cloud, and through sky, and through space... Carry the peace and the coolness of night; And carry my sorrow in kind... Layla, you're loved so much more than you know; May troubles be far from your mind... And forgive me for being so blind..."

The bundle of innocence had it's Golden eyes closed, while it was softly breathing, now being soundly asleep once again. Hugging her child closer, her crystal clear tears stained the baby's blanket. She was crying because it was her fault, that her daughter will suffer in the near future and she felt so guilty for it, that words can't even describe how much. Her hushed voice sounding broken, as she whispered into the child's ear, while it was soundly asleep. "I'm so sorry my dearest daughter... I hope you can forgive me..." The mother then brushed a few black bangs out of the sleeping baby's face, with a small and wavering smile.

She loved her child and wished she could raise it like any other parent would. But she couldn't. For she was exiled from the celestial realm, due to her love for a certain man. It was a forbidden love. A sin. And the child was a danger and a sin, which went against everything that the goddesses created, as well as the purity of heaven. So, in attempt to keep the purity in the celestial realm, this woman was exiled. Forever.

Of course, the goddesses and gods had no idea, that Layla, the little baby, was born. And thus, they didn't say anything would happen to her. But Celestia, the woman, knew exactly what would happen, if they were to find out. And they would have, as soon as she would have been born, which is why she sacrificed her life in the celestial realm, so that no one would know Layla existed.

That woman was a goddess. The lunar goddess of the wolves.

Celestia cradled Layla even closer, trying to shielding her dearest daughter from any harm and danger, while she continued to cry, scared for her lovely daughters life. Suddenly, two strong and masculine arms wrapped themselves around the goddesses frail body, making her gasp...
