Chapter Thirty - Three

Luhan's Pov

My head was occupied with the thought of finishing this bloodsucking vampire off so I can run to Jae hee's side and assure her that everything is fine but after ripping this vampire apart and watch him to turn to ashes, I heard Jae hee's scream from a distant.

"Jae hee?" I immediately looked behind me, I felt my whole body turning cold and panic took over my entire system. There was no time to waste, I quickly hasten my steps and track Jae hee's scent.

"Hyung!" I heard Tao calling my name but I didn't bother to wait for him, I just had to find her and make sure she was okay.

And then I heard another scream but this one was different, this one sounded like a ferocious beast had set it's sights on it's prey.

"Jae Hee!" When I got there, my eyes grew larger and my jaws almost hit the ground, I felt Tao arrived behind me and I have a feeling he too have the same reaction.

The vampire laid lifeless on the ground, his body torn to pieces, blood splattered everywhere and not a moment too soon, his body turn to ashes. Jae hee was stood next to where the body once were.

Her hands and mouth were covered in blood and it didn't take long for me to realized she had killed the vampire with her own strength.

This is the first time I've seen her sharp teeth and claws.

Jae hee fell to her knees and was about to hit her head on the floor but I caught her right on time, I gently laid her head against my chest as I hold her tightly in my arms. I guess her first kill has drained all of her energy.

I carried her bridal style and walked towards Tao who was smirking but I also noticed a tint of sadness behind those eyes, though he quickly covered it up with a laugh. "What?" I asked in annoyance, he simply shrugged his shoulders, "Nothing."

"Let's go before more of them come."

"Yeah."

( 7 : 35 p.m. )

We decided to get some rest near a lake, Jae hee still sleeping soundly in my arms. I turned my attention to Tao who had already taken off his clothes and his pants. I raised a brow and said, , "You're kidding right?"

He looked at me with a poker face. "What?"

"Dude, what if she wakes up and sees you naked?"

"Oh would you relax? She's not going to wake up anytime soon and if she does, she'll get the luxury of seeing my gorgeous six packs." He laughed and I swear to god he pissed me off sometimes.

"You're an idiot." I shook my head which he laughed at even more.

I brought my attention back to Jae hee.

She looks really cute when she's sleeping. She's prolly having a delicious dream right now because of the drool at the side of her lips.

As I stared at her face, examining her every features, my body reacted as if it has a mind of his own---I started caressing her warm rosy cheeks.

What happens if one day I loose her?

No, I can't think about something like that. That will never happen because I will always be here to protect Jae hee until I breathe my last breath.

(20 minutes later)

Finally the troublesome maknae has fallen asleep. He was super noisy when he was awake---he went on and on about not stealing Jae hee away from me and he'd make sure to reject her kindly when she falls head over heels for his six packs.

I swear that guy is a pain in the ass.

Looks like I have to stay awake and watch over these two. I won't be getting any sleep tonight... *sigh*
