____________________________________________________________________________

Over the course of the next few days, me and Malle packed. Aunt Delia came all the way from Kansas and helped mom out with all this crazyness. Malle walked around the house with random moods. One moment she was happy as can be till she sees the boxes of our things around the house and goes off crying. Mom just continued with work like nothing has happend at all, but at night I hear her crying in her room when she thought me and Malle were asleep. It was hard for all of us, mom crying, Malle moping around lost in thought, Aunt Delia trying to cheer both them up while I was mad.

I was mad for reasons. One being my dad, well actually all of it has to do with my dad. If he hadn't popped into our lifes, me, mom, and Malle would live our normal summer till school started agian. Dad messed everything up to the point of no return. It's like the day he left mom pregnant with Malle and me as a toddler. I just hate him for everything and untill the day I move out or he lets me and Malle live with mom agian, I'm going to hate him and ignore him to no end.

I was packing in my room when my aunt knocked on my door frame. "Mia? May I ask you a quick question?" She asked. My aunt looked like my mom, but she had blonde hair and brown eyes. And was a little bit taller than her, mabye cause in high school she was athletic. "Come on in, free space." I responded, putting my sheets in boxes to be shipped, like the rest of my stuff. Aunt Delia came in and sat on my roller chair and then spoke, "When was the last time you have talked to your dad? Like in any shape or form?" This took me a minute, then I figured out what she was asking.

"I haven't talked to him for a long time really, not since I was a toddler I think. Why auntie?" I replied, putting the last of my stuff away. She just sat there staring at her hands, thinking about what she was going to say to me or anybody next. "It's probably nothing, but I just wanted to let you know that if you or Malle need anything, really just anything at all you could tell me and I would get you guys it." She finally said. I just stood there in the awkward silence once agian while aunt Delia just figited in my chair. This went on for about a couple more minutes untill Malle came into my room saying mom finished lunch. "Okay peaches, tell her we will be right there alright?" auntie told her. Mallet nodded and took off down the hallway.

"I mean it Mia, if you need anything tell me." she said with a stern look. I nodded and followed her into he dining room to eat lunch.

~at airport~

Mom and Aunt Delia hugged us tightly. Malle hung onto mom not wanting to let go. "Mom I don't want to go to dad's! I wanna stay with you!" She wailed. Mom soothed her and told her it would be alright and that she would try to visit.

"Flight 487 ready to board. Flight 487 ready to board."

Mom hugged us and my aunt did as well then shooed us towards our flight to Canada.
