Ordinary??? Never!

I was a little worried about dropping off Paris cause it's her first day of school. I can't believe she's in first grade. She's getting so big. But she was excited to leave. So after saying my good bye's I left the building. I drove to Starbucks and decided to just get a small caramel frappe. Just something simple. I drove back to my apartment to clean and get ready for a run.

As I was cleaning the apartment I was thinking of how things would be if my parents never died in a car crash or if my mate didn't leave me in bed after I thought was a passionate night or if he didn't reject me and left me pregnant soon after. Saying he had to do what was right for the pack.

I didn't realize I was crying till I tasted salty tears. I wiped my face, cause when I left I made a promise to never cry over the past again. I was soon finished cleaning when I changed into something lose and left the house to drive somewhere deserted away from watchful eyes.

When I finally got to a deserted wooded area I parked the car and got out. I walked a little into the area and found a good place to strip of my clothing. Once naked I felt my body shift, it was painful due to me not shifting in a while. But felt amazing and made my wolf feel good.

Running through out the forest felt good. It helped me relax and get ride of unnecessary stress. I soon came to a trot as I spotted a rabbit. My wolf, whose name is Elana, decided she wanted to hunt. So, when the rabbit ran we chased it and ate it. Filling up our hungry belly.

When I reached the car I picked up my phone to see I had a few missed calls and to see that it already 2:30 pm. Almost time to pick Paris up.

I had a call from my best friend that is a werewolf but decided to live in the human world instead of pack life. Just like me! I decided to call her and see what she wants.

"Hey bitch!" She screeches into the phone as soon as I called. I rolled my eyes at her.

"What you want girl?" I said laughing as I pulled out the woods and got back on the main streets.

"Nothing, trynna see if you gonna go to the ball, welcoming the new Alpha."

"Really? First of all why would you go knowing you don't like pack life! Secondly, what if "he's" there? You know I don't want to see him. Plus, he doesn't know he has a daughter!"
I practically yelled into the phone.

"Girl! The new Alpha is a total hottie! Plus you need to have a little fun! Please!!!!!! Omg! If I am required to go then you are required to go! I'll buy you and Paris a new outfit to wear to the ball. Plus, you been working out and looking like a total hottie!" She said knowing I love new clothes and trynna make me feel better.

"Fine. When is the ball anyways?" Ugh 😑

"Its this weekend!"
She said squealing loudly. I couldn't help but laugh at her.

"How bout you come over at  five for dinner and we can talk about it." I said knowing her fat ass loves food.

"I'll be there. Bye! Love yah!" Then she hung up.

In the meantime I drove all the way to Paris school and was waiting in the pick up line for her.
