Chapter 1: The Black Streak

Joozou's POV

It was snowing today. I was walking threw the forest. It was a clean path but still, it was cold. All I had to cover me was my clothes and my cloak.

I pulled the hood up and looked forward. I've been walking for about an hour and there's a town about 5 minutes from here. So much walking!!

Anyway, my name is Joozou, I'm 19 and I'm a S class assassin. I may not look like it but I am. You see, I was born with a unique ability. I am able to change my appearance perfectly. Not a transformation Jutsu, just full on changing.

I don't understand it but I'm able to change, which helps in the assassination job. The only thing I can't change is my hair length. Still working on it.

I come from the Ryuu clan. Our unique abilities revolve around our art, even though we are a clan meant for training ANBU like assassins for our leader and our clans own uses.

My clan is in The Hidden Stone Village, I mostly use detonating clay, but my favorite are sharp blades.

However I also have my advantages with our clan having top speed and strength coming in second to the Hokage from the leaf. Tsunade. But only some of us can have that strength. I do, but I like my art, and weapons better.

Other then that, I can use Fire, earth style, and water style. But the thing is when I'm hired I only use my weapon so my chakra isn't sensed.

"Ughhhh!!" I said since my legs hurt. I stopped and sighed as I was at the entrance of the town.

I walked threw the small town and saw children with there families through windows. How nice.

I never knew my parents, I know I have 2 sibling but that's it. I was left behind by the man who adopted my siblings. He only wanted 2 Ryuu. I heard my siblings are great shinobi. And I'm just scum that kills people.

I sighed and looked forward as I saw an open shop. I went in and saw it was a food shop. I sat down in a free stool, and saw a young lady aprouch me.

This was a small sitting shop. Two sections. The counter to serve the food was in front of you with 5 stools next to each other. The cook or server would be in front of us and thats how it worked here.

Anyways, she smiled and handed me a menu. I took it and smiled. I was here alone. It was quit, and warm in the shop because of the food.

I moved my hair out of my face slitly and looked threw the menu. My hair wasnt long, it was short and was black with a red mix in the front, but it was cut about mid neck.

This is my natural look. I had dark grey eyes. Very light with a shine to them. I did have glasses but they were in my pocket cracked.

Ryuu means dragon but our clan stands for a particular dragon that can camouflage into its surroundings. Most people in our clan have unlocked the ability and can use it well. I was born from a lower branch of the clan, but even so, the will of the dragon flows threw me strong. I can control 99% of the ability to change, the last 1% is my hair length.

I sighed and looked up at the girl. "May I have a plate of dumplings and a bowl of ramen. Also for the drink can I have water?" I asked.

She smiled and took the menu. "Of course." She said.

Then two other people walked in. She looked at them and got a little scared. She then handed them menus.

I looked forward and didnt bother looking. "H-hello. Welcome. What would you like to eat or drink?" She asked.

I could hear fear in her voice. "Yeah hi. I want a bowl of ramen and sake." One said. His voice was calm but kinda bored.

"Oh!! Deidara great minds think alike!! I want a bowl of ramen and some dumplings." Another shouted at the girl. He sounded childish.

The lady took the menus and got to cooking quickly. "So Deidara, how are we gonna find the girl?!" The childish one shouted at the other. Deidara? Weird name....

"Keep quit. Anyway she was spotted in the other town a ways back. So she should be in this area." The other one said annoyed.

"You're so smart!! We are sure to find The Black Streak!!" The childish one said. I flinched. One sat a stool away from me and the other next to him between us. I took in my surroundings and put my guard up.

I was hired as an assassin to kill a man that hadn't paid my village money for a gamble. A witness said all he saw was a black streak. So that was my nick name.

I was taken out of thought by a bowl of dumpling being put in front of me and a bowl of ramen. I looked up and saw her sweeting as she set a cup down.

"Thank you." I said. "Y-your welcome." She said in a shaking voice. "Dont be afraid." I said smiling. She gave me a weak smile and began to serve another bowl of dumplings.

Guess she gave me my food first. I then felt a glare as I put a dubling in my mouth. I had my chopsticks in hand and bit the dumpling. It was a round shaped dumpling filled with meat and vegetables.

I finished the dumpling and began to eat my ramen. I stopped eating when I felt someone right next to me. It was the childish one. I heard there voices how far they were and just kept eating.

The childish one sat next to the 'Deidara' person. And the 'Deidara' person sat next to me. But the childish one was in the middle of me and the Deidara person.

"Tobi sit down, you'll get your dumplings." The Deidara guy said bored and kinda annoyed. "But Deidara!! Im hungry now!!" The childish one said named Tobi.

I turned to look at him. He was atleast 5 inches from my face. I held in my emotions and kept an empty expresion.

He had brown near black spiky hair, a orange mask with swirls, and a black cloak that had red clouds.

He was really impatiently looking at me. Without looking away from him I grabbed a dumpling and held it in front of him.

"For me?!??!?" He shouted. I nodded and he excitedly grabbed it with his hand and shoved it under his mask. I couldn't see since he did it in the blink of an eye. I just looked at him as he kept staring at me. I looked past him and saw the Deidara person looking kinda annoyed.

He had long blond hair, some tied up, and a part covered one of his eyes. It was barely visiable but I saw something on his eye. It was the one covered by hair. He also had a blue showing eye and the same cloak with red clouds.

"Thanks, I was starving!!! And it tasted delicious!!" Tobi shouted getting my attention again. He then sat in his chair.

I looked away and began to eat my food and was done. "H-He-Here's y-your o-order." The girl said. She was shaking while putting the food down. The person named Deidara looked at the girl then at the food.

I then noticed it spilled a little. A smirk came on the boy Deidaras face as he looked at the spill, and the Tobi guy just ate his food.

"You spil-" Deidara said but was cut off by me taking a napkin in the blink of an eye and cleaning the spot. Everyone then looked at me as well. I did do it really fast. Like light speed fast, I then began to think of an escape.

They looked shocked except for Tobi. I couldn't tell from his mask. I stood up left my payment and disappeared with a black streak.
