The Shadows,
A unstable experiment that went wrong.
When testing began, they broke free, and began to spread by the thousands, collecting new territory and becoming more and more vicious as they took over our world.
Some say that the elders that created these things wanted our kind to go extinct;
How we were the dangerous ones.
But, put next to these..monsters. These family killing, undoubtedly, psychotic animals that only kill for their own pleasure.
We're nothing but pups with special powers.
Powers that could tickle one of The Shadows if it was strong enough.
In a perfect world, I could've been back at my home, living out the last of my days in a dreary looking den while trainee's took care of my old bones.
But it's just a fairy tale at this point, a made up story to tell the kids.
Something that would never happen in the world we live in.
