It's your birthday, you're growing an year older;
But not just that; smarter, better and hopefully bolder.
You've given me the best sixteen yours of my life and I'm genuinely thankful for it;
Getting someone who goes out of their way to make you happy is the most special gift.
I know I've not been the best daughter,
hell not even close to a good daughter;
I've tortured you, annoyed you, agitated you and many times taken away your laughter.
But you should know I'm sorry and I'm genuinely sorry;
I'm gonna try to make amends and hopefully make your life a better story.
I know I complain and crib a lot, but I know you've done the best for us ;
You've always disregarded your wishes and bothered about our non-significant fuss.
You've held my hand when I couldn't walk,
You've made me repeat your name until I could talk.
You've supported me through everything in my life;
And provided me with all the encouragement so that I could strive.
You're the best father anybody could ask for;
And not just the best father, but the best mentor.
You're a very honest and good man, sometimes too nice for your own good;
That's the reason nobody hates you; nobody possibly could.
You're the the CPU to my computer,
the missing piece to my puzzle;
You're the grin to my face,
And the best father to my every muscle.
