sometimes we have to lose someone

important just to realize, what we have.

death is a strange thing. an unknown concept that isn't talked about a lot, but through shifty gazes, teary eyes, and crushing guilt.

sometimes there are absent memories, that peel tan walls, and leave a person decaying in someone's absquatulate shadow.

sometimes there's nothing.

it's confusing, because for a time you see people on the streets, looking lost. their eyes glossed over. but really their just stuck in a saudade loop over and over again, which could be forever.

there's always this agony, when someone dies.

the kind of agony that makes you want to punch a hole into the mirror, or grip onto the sink until your fingers go numb.

because any other kind of pain is

easier than the type in your thoughts.
