All that Isaac Collan wanted was to live happily ever after, without any worries. But it seemed as if that was the thing that would never happen. His always present anxiety kept him from doing what he enjoys, it keeps him from succeeding school and managing to keep a steady friendship.
In his entire life, he's only had one person he could confidently call his friend. The quirky blonde girl, Aila Hope, who didn't force Isaac to do something against his will. With her by his side, Isaac felt like he could actually be himself. He no longer had to pretend. Because of her, Isaac had the courage to chase after his dream, in secret of course -- he started his own newspaper, after the Daily Prophet seemed to publish more ridiculous stories with each edition.
But when fifth year starts, Isaac is confronted with more than what he should include in his next paper. With the rise of Voldemort, Umbridge and the new Order of the Phoenix, Isaac also has to deal with his feelings for the brilliant Hermione Granger, that seem to increase every time he lays eyes on her.
