Saturday Morning

I woke up later than I expected then again it's because I went to sleep late last night. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom cause I need a shower the only thing I did when I got home was change into my pajamas and went to sleep. After a nice cold shower I changed into my uniform and got ready for work. I went downstairs and grabbed my car keys and headed straight for work. I got to work, clocked in and started taking peoples orders. 

 "Welcome to Cronies, my name is Zoey I'll be your server today can I start you off with any drinks?" I asked not paying attention to the customer.

"Wow Red I didn't think you'd work in the restaurant industry". A familiar voice said

"Are you sure you're not stalking me?" I asked raising a brow at him

 Sheldon just chuckled and said "No Red, I came here for lunch"

"There a problem Red?" He asked still smirking up at me

 "No, what will it be?" I asked getting ready to write down his order.

"I'll have a water with a bucket of Onion Rings, and I'll have a Bacon Cheeseburger" Sheldon said closing his menu. I wrote down his order and grabbed his menu.

"You're food will be out shortly" I said walking away. I gave the order to the chef and tended the other customers.

"Zoey!" Jarred the host called and I went over to him.

"Yes, there something you need?" I asked

"This customer is asking for the manager" Jarred said and I nodded

"I can take her after I give an order to one of my customers." I said to Jarred and turned to the other customer

"I'll be with you in a moment" I said with a smile and went to pick up Sheldon's food. I grabbed his plate and brought it over to him.

"Here's your water, onion rings, and Bacon Burger. Is there anything else you need?" I asked after putting his food down in front of him.

"No, I'm good Red" Sheldon said and I rolled my eyes. I walked back to Jarred and took the customer that wanted to talk to Lucy.

"I'm sorry for making you wait so long" I apologized 

"Oh don't worry actually I came in here cause the sign said help wanted and I'm looking for a job, are you the manager" She asked

 "No let me go get her, my names Zoey by the way" I said holding my hand out for her to shake.

 "Nice to meet you Zoey my name's Erica" She said taking my hand and giving it a firm shake

I went in the back and knocked on my manager's door, "Lucy you have someone who's looking for a job" 

"Ok send them in Zoey" Lucy said

"Ok Erica go right on in good luck and let me know how it goes" I said with a smile and directed her to the managers office

"Ok thanks Zoey" She said with a smile.

 "No problem" I said before she went in

 I continued taking peoples orders and serving them. We closed early so I started  helping the staff  clean up. Erica came out with a smile on her face. I was cleaning a table when I saw Erica 

 "So how did it go?" I asked putting the chairs up on the table.

 "Well... I got the job" Erica said
