Unspoken Truths (Transformers Fanfic)

Chapter 4

We drive around the city for awhile just looking at everything. We end up parking in a spot where we can see the Washington Memorial.

"What is it?" Dino asks me and I hesitate on answering.

"It's to remember our first president George Washington. He helped us gain freedom from England" I tell him pulling my legs up to my chest. We just sit there for hours, me telling him about Earth and our past. There's not much for him to say about Cybertron that I don't already know however. It gets silent again as the sun starts to set. I notice that I'm hungry especially since the last time I ate was this morning. It doesn't faze me though. I haven't been eating much anyway.

     "You really miss him don't you?" Dino asks breaking the silence.

     "Of course I do...he was like the father I never had" I close my eyes were his face is still imprinted in my mind.

     "It's more than that though"

      "How do you happen to know all this?" I smile opening my eyes.

     "I just do" Dino laughs "I suppose we ought to get back" He says and we start heading back.

      "I'm not ready to speak to everyone yet..." I sigh thinking about Kyle and Hazel and everyone.

      "I won't tell anyone, you have my word" Dino says as we pull into N.E.S.T. I see William coming over and get out. I glare at him before walking away, I do not need him ruining my day. Him and his big mouth can stay away from me. I grabbed a bagel as I was still starving and headed back to my room. Kyle came into my room later with his laptop that giant goofy grin on his face.

    "Check this out" He said sitting on the floor by my bed leaning against it. I lay down on my stomach watching from above. "Okay you can't tell William, Optimus, or your little friend about this" He opened his laptop. Kyle happens to be a genius when it comes to computers and can hack almost anything, several times the victim was me. It just so happens that he found a way to hack into the security cameras around NEST. I smile as he pulls up all the cameras. I notice something moving on one of the cameras and point it out to Kyle. He brings it up so it's bigger and in the dark a person hides in the shadows.

      "Well well well what have we here?" Kyle grins "Someone ought to put a stop to him!" He closes the laptop and practically drags me out of my room. He hands me a stun gun and I raise an eyebrow. The stun guns are Hazel's as she is the one who fixes up guns and stuff.

     "I like to use the term 'borrowing'" Kyle places quotes around borrowing. "Troopers by day! Spies by night!" He grins at me "Let's sick em"
