Haru had a weird feeling because her locker was really close to his friend, Ali's, locker and she kept telling him that Lynn keeps looking his way but who would ever knew this would happen..

"HARU HEY."
"*turns around ??"
"So this is my friend we know you like her but she has a boyfriend so get ur ass off."
"..."
Haru was speechless no one in his life ever rejected him before he even get to say anything. His friend, Antwuan, dragged him away before Lynn's friend makes him feel any worse. Then midway, Lynn's friend comes up.
"Hey her Boyfriend wants to talk to you."
"Wait what wh.."
Before Haru got to say anything he got dragged outside by Antwuan.

That day was just terrible for Haru.. After school when he was still recovering from what happened, Lynn texted him.

"Sorry for my friend earlier... but it was just uncomfortable for me ever since your friends would lurk around my locker after school and yell really loud cause it was annoying and obnoxious... sorry again for her actions but I do have a boyfriend... no hard feelings thx for understanding 🤗

And I've known that you liked since like 2 weeks ago 😂"

That really left Haru speechless. He tries to keep as calm as possible fri his tone over text but on the other side of the screen.. he's tearing up for a girl for the first time. He replied and tried to keep the conversation going for as long as possible so they have at least a few paragraphs of messages in memory. But in the end she left him..

Haru later on stopped going to Ali's locker just to see Lynn for at least a few seconds. He stopped going around the whole school just to pass by her. He stopped everything.. Nothing now is the same...

His life continued like this for the rest of the school year until he had the same project for a field trip as Lynn. He made up the courage to text her..

"Hey Lynn.. Sorry if I annoyed you or whatever but I'd really like for us to be frands 😂"
"Yea I thought we were cool?"
"Yea lol sorry I just was making sure, I was worried I annoyed you or something."
"No it's ok I get annoyed easily but I'm not a bitch😂😂😂"
"Oh no lol that's not what I meant."
"No I know but ya know. *hair flip* 😂

"Nah 💁‍♂️*flips bad hair* 😂"

The convo may seem like it's going really good UNTIL Haru asked her if she likes kpop since she's Korean..

"No I hate kpop. Like I'm Korean but I hate it, sorry if that's offensive. I'm out so gtg."
"O lol it's fine and ok ttyl."

But what Lynn doesn't know is that he doesn't like KPOP anyways..

The next day the school went to ice skating and that friend Haru had in the same grade as Lynn came up to him.
"CHRIS!"
"Ye?"
"Lynn was talking about u just now randomly."
"Oml srsly lol what's she saying"
Haru was really excited when he heard that but what came next hit him hard.
"She was like oh it's that creepy stalker dude"

Haru was so confused and angered. He went up to Lynn before that friend can finish her sentence....
