Hey I just wanted to change the scene and do a thriller/supernatural kinda thing.
SOOOOO this is a story about a made up race called The Violets there are two types of Violets... Fire and Ice. And there are shape shifters but not werewolf's, there are three types of shifters... Jaguars(the strongest), Sharks and Tigers. Just thought I would clear it up.

My Shape shifting Friend... ohh and the Chained Guy in my Basement
Just a few weeks ago I lived in a huge mansion filled with Maids and cooks, but I wasn't satisfied. I would head up to the roof and look out at the twilight, explore the forests that surround my parents house and go visit the cook's son, Columbus or Cole for short.
During the post modern war, this house used to be a head quarters for the moonshine industry, so tunnels underneath the city end at this very house. As a kid I was warned never to go down there, never to open the steel door to take a peek. Cole even warned me never to go down there, because his father is from a south American decent, believes that there is a great evil that lives beyond those walls but when I asked what kind of evil. He only muttered Portuguese, to his son and continued with his cooking.
When Cole and I returned to the common room after a long day out in the forest, I keep eyeing the basement door which lead to the steel door, remembering the talk I had with Cole's father.
"No, Renny we can't" Cole said in his slight accent reading my thoughts, he was clearly worried about me because he believed his father.
"You seriously don't believe there is something 'evil' down there, do you?" when he didn't say anything, I grabbed his wrist and tugged him toward the door.
"Come on Cole, it will be..." but before I could finish my sentence, he yanked his hand out of my grasp while shaking his head.
"Renny, you don't understand! I can 'feel' that there is something wrong about whatever's down there, and if you get hurt..." he clenched on to my shoulders, his eyes were wild, but his pupil dilated, kind of like a cat with the oval instead of a circle.
"Cole... your eyes" he jumped away from me as if I was poison while rubbing his eyes. I froze as he hunched over as if in pain, he lay on his hands and knees. His bones lengthen and black satin fur began spouting from his arms and bare legs. When he clutched his head with his clawed hands, I finally moved over to him.
"Cole-" but I was pushed away but his abnormal strength, I ended up on the other side of the common room.
"Renny... stay-away" he growled low, his voice had changed to a rasp as it dropped an octave. I backed away toward the door that closest to me, it just so happened to be the cool basement door.
I didn't know what Cole was, but it was freaking me out. so I ran, down the dark stair case and toward a oil lantern that hang on the wall with a bunch of them heading down a tunnel.
The Moonshine tunnels.
The tunnels themselves were dark, water slipped out from the cracks of the walls. I grabbed the closes oil lantern and headed further into the tunnel.
About ten minutes later, I came across a door on the left hand side from me; I felt a shot of fear go up my spine. I extended my hand to grab onto the steel lever that unlocked the door.
After a struggle, I entered the small damp room to find a chair with something tied or more like chained up on the wall in front of it. it had a big cloak and shoulder length dark hair that was thick. As I approached the tall looking male I found that he was a teenager around my age, judging from his size and clothing. He just hung there with his two arms extended on either side of his body, like Jesus on the cross.
He was trapped inside this room, panting loudly. As I went closer and closer to him I heard something behind me. As I turned I saw a satin black Jaguar creep closer to me.
Where the hell did that thing come from? But its eyes were a Honey colour, while it just stood there staring at me, waiting for something. Then I remembered Cole, and how he began sprouting black fur and the changing of his eyes...
"Hey you!" I spun around and the boys head lolled to the side. His violet eyes gleamed in the lantern light with a wildness and somewhat crazed look. "Can you... by any chance, of course, let me down?" his voice was accented but I couldn't distinguish where.
There was a low growl from the Jaguar as his silently came around to stand before me as if protecting me from the chained guy. What can a chained guy do anyway?
"How did you get here, anyway?"I said as I slowly moved forward, but the Jaguar growled at me to step back. I looked at the chained guy again, he was giving me a strange look as if he just remembered who I was.
"Your eyes, there violet... like mine" he spoke staring at me more intensely. Yeah... your point is? I mean, yeah, I do have violet eyes and wavy straight hair but that doesn't make me a chained girl like him.
"What are you?" I squinted in the light to get a better look at him. The trench coat covered most of his body, but there was an intertwined gold and silver necklace. My hand automatically went to my neck where my father's necklace hung warm against my skin.
"Your fathers?" when I nodded. He continued. "Yeah, it's always the father's that give us this stupid curse" he shook his head as he began to lumber to stand before her. The Jaguar stood by my side now, looking ready to kill if this guy made a move.
"Wait... Curse?" I spoke softly , when he gave a light chuckle.
"You don't know?" at my numb shake of my head, he tsked " well, Renny... you name is Renny? Anyway, you are a Violet" when I waited for him to explain, he gave a frustrated sound.
"Well, fine I will tell you... you a Violet Right? Well, there a two kinds of Violets... Fire and Ice et cetera et cetera et cetera" he rolled his eyes "you get it now? Well that's it! You father can tell you all the gorgy details and... The Change" he whispered the last bit out. what the hell? No wonder he is locked up here, because he is a total loony.
"Let me show you" he reached forward for my necklace, with a Purple-blue flame built in his palm. I jumped back at the sudden jolt of wariness shook my petit frame, the boy is dangerous, kept screaming though my head. Beside me, I felt the Jaguar change and form back into Cole, who sprang in front of me clenching me to his Back.
"Rhyes" Cole said in a flat tone.
"Columbus! Finally bagged yourself a Violet, I see? I will back off" he was smug for someone who is chained to a wall in my basement. He then turned to me, as I looked over Cole's shoulder. "Sweetheart, his not you type... but me? If you let me out, I promise not to kill you" he said it too nicely, which meant he would be happy to kill us both. That was when Cole backed toward the door.
"What? The party over already..." there was a beam of purple-blue fire shot from Rhyes's hand, as quick as it was thrown, Cole turned and clenched me to his chest as the beam collided with his back.
"Go Run... don't come back here... Tell my Father, it's time" he panted as he began to change once more.
