~ Corey ~

Me and Brennen have just been playing video games all night and it's now 12:30am. "Hey Brennen, mind if I stay the night tonight and probably tomorrow night. I'll try not to stay long, I just really don't want to see Devyn right now." I say as we clean up and get ready for bed. "Yeah totally. Stay as long as you need. If you want you can sleep in my room and I'll sleep on the couch." He says in reply. "No it's fine. The couch is comfortable anyways." I laugh and he nods going to his room. I already know where the blankets and pillows are so I grab a blanket and a pillow from the closet.

~ Brooklyn ~

I wake up and it's 12:45am. Damn I must've slept long! I fell asleep around noon. Oh yeah. Because that's when I found out Scotty cheated on me and Corey was comforting me. I feel tears spring to my eyes, but I blink them away. Ugh my pillows a mess and so am I. I take off the pillow sheet and throw it in my laundry basket. Then I leave my room and go into the bathroom to wash my face and pee.

I walk into the kitchen and see Corey making cereal. I walk up behind him and wrap my arms around his stomach as I hug him from behind. He jumped a little bit but then realized it was me and he put the milk down. Then he turned around and engulfed me in a hug. "I'm so sorry Brooklyn. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." He says quietly. "You didn't hurt me. Scotty did." I whisper back as I continue to hug him. "Thank you." "For what?" He asks as he chuckles. "For comforting me while I cried until I fell asleep." I chuckle as well. "You're welcome." He says as he rests his chin on top of my head.

"So I assume you're spending the night?" I ask Corey as we sit on the couch and he eats his cereal as I eat my ice cream. "Yeah, I'll be staying a couple nights. Once Devyn gets out of the house, I'll go back." I nod as I listen to Corey. "Speaking of Devyn. I forgot to text her." He pulls out his phone and types a message and shows me. It's reads 'Devyn. It'd be great if you could pack up your stuff and leave. I honestly don't want to see you anytime soon so I'll be staying at Brennen's and Brooklyn's for a few nights till you leave. Sincerely, Corey.' I chuckle at his message and we continue eating till his phone goes off again.

~ Corey ~

My phone goes off signaling a text from who I assume is Devyn. Yup, Devyn.

D: Are you serious!? You're at Brooklyn's house?
C: Yes I'm serious. We are both comforting each other since both of our significant others cheated on us.
D: Thats a dick move Corey.
C: What you did was a dick move. So I'm gonna continue having a good time with Brook and Brennen these next couple of days while you pack up your shit and leave. Goodbye Devyn.
D: I can't even believe you right now.

"What happened?" Brooklyn asks me as she sets down her empty bowl on the coffee table. "She's mad that I'm here spending time with you and that I told her to pack her shit and leave." I say chuckling at the last part.

So we've been watching movies for the last 4 and a half hours and it's now 5 in the morning. I look over towards Brooklyn and she's passed out on the couch. How cute. Now I will admit, I've had a slight crush on her for the past few weeks. But we would never be together and I wouldn't do that to Brennen especially right now. I don't want to move her to her bed because I don't want to wake her. So I just grab the remote shutting off the tv and I grab a pillow and blanket for her.

I carefully lift up her head a little bit, and slip a pillow under her head. Then I lay a blanket over her. Once I finish that, I lay down on the couch and cover myself up with my blanket since it's pretty cold in the living room. Since the couch is an L shape, she's laying on the side against the wall, and I'm laying on the side facing away from the kitchen. "Goodnight." I whisper to Brooklyn, and then I fall into a deep sleep.
