It was summer. June had worked in Star Labs for two years now. She was hired as a personal assistant for Doctor Harrison Wells. The two of them had formed a really special bond. They did everything for each other, would die and live for each other. They loved and loved each other with everything they had. But they didn't know it. It was almost as if they were scared of it. Everyone knew they were made for each other, but the fact that there was a huge age difference and that Harrison was her boss made it difficult.
Sometimes, when June was working on something, Harrison would look at her with so much love, even Captain Cold would melt. The same way around. June would sometimes look at Harrison when he wasn't paying attention, and she would see her whole world, her universe.  June wasn't anything without Harrison, and Harrison wasn't anything without her.

June was just thinking about Harrison when he walked in. She immediately felt the heath rise to her cheeks and her heartbeat sped up. She could see that Harrison was blushing as well. It was so weird, for everyone. Barry was the one June mostly talked to about Harrison, because he understood the feeling of loving someone so much, that it hurts. It hurts so much, you can't touch the person the way you want to, talk to them the way you want to. It truly hurt.
Caitlin, Cisco and Barry saw it everyday. The longing look for each other, the light touches that they thought were casual, like when June was sitting down by the computer, Harrison would wheel himself next to her and touch her lower back, as if he was guiding her. Guiding her through the dark with his touch. It was so hard for them. They basically lived together, were together all the time, but never really together. It even hurt Cisco and Caitlin. It was weird to see their boss in such a state. Their work and age difference were in the way. And it hurt.

"Hello, June, what are you working on?" Harrison came in the room. He wheeled himself to her and sat down next to her. She had her head bowed down so she could see the computer better. She felt the feeling she always had when he was close to her. Her whole body felt warm, like it could sense his presence. The same for him.
"Just searching the city. Oh, by the way, it is almost time for your conference." June blushed as he looked at her, she kept her head down, not wanting him to see her that way. Suddenly, Harrison grabbed her hand, "June," he spoke up. June felt a kick. She felt adrenaline rush through her body, and she could see Harrison felt the same. With cheeks burning, she looked up at him. "Yes?" She smiled weakly at him. Harrison curled her fingers around his. It was such a simple gesture, but it meant the world to them. It was like intimacy for them, like doing something that you're not supposed to do. "I, I just, I want you to-" Harrison was cut of by an alarm. It was a clock, and it showed that it was time for the press conference.

"Let's go guys!" Cisco walked into the room. He saw June and Harrison so close to each other, closer that they have ever been, their legs tangled together, just like their hands. It felt so right, and so wrong at the same time. It felt like smoking in secret. It felt so good, so right and nice and it was amazing, but you felt a voice in the back of your head telling you to stop, to forget your cigarette and stop.
"O! Um, yes," June said. Harrison awkwardly coughed. They let each other go like they had burned themselves.

Harrison quickly turned his chair and got out of the room. June and Cisco stared at each other. "I'm sorry June," Cisco whispered. He knew that they loved each other, and he knew he made a mistake. Harrison was about to confess his feelings for her. She had waited for that moment for almost two years. She could and would never confess her feeling to him, because he was her boss, so he needed to make his move. "It's fine." June was struggling to hold back her tears as she looked down. Just thirty seconds ago, her hands were tangled with his. With his. Their legs had been tangled. Her feet around his ankles and their thighs touching. It was like they were holding on for dear life.
