They prefer to pin it down,
on a mere sheet of paper.
Their darkest secrets and,
their deepest desires.
Sharing it to others is best,
we say.
Yet they write each word,
what it's heart says.
Then why own diaries?
I once ask.
The one smiled and replied,
"It's okay to let out and convey.
But showing them to gain sympathy, is only an act of cowardice.
Don't bottle your problems.
Instead fight 'em and become your own HERO."
