"Run!"
"W-What?"
"I said Run!"
That's all I remember before getting a blow to the head when I woke up I found that I was in an old abandoned cobble-paved back street. Once I got my surroundings together, in the distance I could hear the sounds of cheering. I managed to make my way towards the sounds, as soon as I reached my destination there was a parade with cheering and confetti. It was hard navigating my way through the crowd while covering my ears and tail as the crowd was so big, there were humans and dwarves everywhere and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a mysterious cloaked figure with what seemed like elf ears! Elves were nearly banished from Tuleila as they were suspected of terrorism, so seeing an elf outside in public is quite rare now. I was tempted to go talk to them but by the time my decision was made they were gone. My home wasn't too far away from the street the parade was on so I decided to start walking down the old cobbled roads with the small patches of moss poking through the cracks. When I got to my front garden I opened the small little gate and walked past my blossoming crystal lilies. On my welcome mat outside the front door there was a small mysterious package and as my instinct, I immediately reached for it and noticed there was a small note on top which read 'I can help you'. All I wanted to do was get inside and have some delicious 'Pork Royale' which is a traditional Nekojin meal that I had made a few days ago, luckily they last nearly forever! After my delicious meal, I decided to open the package from the mysterious stranger. Inside the box was a small note with an address on it '27 Ryvelyn Road' and another note which read 'Meet me there at noon tomorrow if you want the help you need.'. I decided that sleep was much needed and that the next day I would meet up with this stranger. I awoke to the smell of the morning dew which smelt different every day and today it was the smell of delicious pastries being baked. Rushing to get ready I quickly put on my hooded cape while leaving to meet with my mysterious stranger. I had enough time to stop by the Royal Library to get some books on Ancient Nekojin History without being "suspicious", for my new book about why, as a nekojin, our cultural and historical backgrounds are too wonderful to destroy. As soon as I entered I it seemed like everyone was staring at me but no one was but I was scared. After I went to the library I then made my way to the rondeaux to find my stranger. Peeking from behind a tree was the elf girl from the parade, was this my mysterious stranger?
"Oh, hello." She greeted.
"Are you the one who sent me the package?" I asked
"Yes, I am also the one who saved you last night." She admitted
I was confused because I was knocked unconscious last night.
"But, I was unconscious last night." I inquired
"Ah yes, by being unconscious they thought you were dead and ignored you." The stranger answered.
What did she mean by they? What was going on? I am just so confused. But before I could say anything else she signalled for me to follow her.
I followed her through some trees until we finally came upon a small, falling apart cottage with vines and moss growing all over it.
"Uh, where are we?" I asked.
"This is my base, don't you remember? You stumbled across it and then all of it happened." She explained.
I still didn't know what she meant but I needed to find out what happened that night.
"So who's they?" I said puzzled.
"That's not important right now." She blurted out.
"B-but!" I said
