Chapter three .

"That's right sweetie just breathe" I heard a voice say.. then I heard silence

'Beep... beep.. beep' I hear this annoying noise in my ear.

Where am I?

As I open my eyes I see a sleeping Kian on my lap holding my hand and Jc asleep in a chair. I look around and see an I.V sticking out of my arm.

I follow the cords up to the monitor. I'm in the hospital.. why?

"Kian.." I scarily say while lightly shaking Kian awake

"Omg Liv you're awake" He says getting up quickly and embracing me in a hug

"Why.. why am I in the hospital?" I said on the verge of tears

"Shh baby girl it's okay. The doctor said you had an allergic reaction to something you ate" he said while tilting my head up to look into his eyes

" All I had was shrimp, pineapple, and rice" I said thinking about what could have caused it

"But I eat that stuff all the time!" I say freaking out

'Knock, knock'

The knock wakes Jc

The doctor walks in

"Look who's awake." He said with a smile

He flips open my file and skims the page

"Hi I'm Dr. Edwards. Well the problem seems to be something you ate. We seen you had shrimp, pineapple, and rice" he says glancing at me

"I eat that on a regular pineapple mostly but shrimp I've never been allergic to it" I say in disbelief

"It is highly possible that you can develop an allergy to shrimp. But we need you to stay over night so we can do some testing." He say while looking at me

"Whatever it take to figure out what happened to me" I said squeezing kians hand

"Good. I'll be back shortly to start the tests" the dr says while leaving

"This sucks I'm gonna be in the hospital on our 1 year anniversary" I say while crying

"Baby girl it's okay . I promise we will make the best out of it!" He says reassuring me and kissing my forehead

"Jc thank you for being here for me. where is everyone else ?" I ask

"In the waiting room not everyone could fit back here" Jc says answering my question

"Oh you should let them know I'm okay" I said trying to smile

Jc nods and walks out of the room leaving Kian and I alone.

"How can this be happening" I say putting my head in my hands

I feel the bed shift a little but when I notice Kian getting up to lay next to me, so I move over so he could fit

I love the way he's my comfort I can just snuggle right up to him and fit perfectly.

"Olivia I love you. You're alive . That's all that matter even if you have to sacrifice shrimp for your life! I thought I lost you . You literally stopped breathing for a while" he said into my hair

I felt his pain the ache he was feeling .

"I'm so sorry . I didn't mean to scare you. Shit I scared myself" I said while laughing

Kian puts his hands on both sides of my face and put his forehead to mine.

"I don't know what I would do without you. You know the song Forever & Always by Parachute?" He asked looking me in my eyes

"Yes I do what about it?" I said looking back

"That's what I felt when you wouldn't wake up. I was scared like our future flashed before my eyes" he says looking down

"Baby look at me. I'm not leaving you any time soon I promise. I will live long enough to see you cry as I walk down the isle" I said while smiling

"Live longer baby girl" he says before he crashes his lips to mine .

This is what I love about him . He makes the bad better

"So seems you are allergic to shrimp. I will draw up a prescription so you can get Epi pens. Other than that you can leave in the morning!" He says while shaking my hand and kians

"Thank you doctor!" I say as he turns to leave out the door

"I'm glad all that is over!" I say laying back

"Me too baby girl. Now get some rest you've had a hard day" Kian says while pulling me close

I slowly drift off to sleep.
