Surprise (Y/n)!

As Angela had told you, you could not fight or train for at least a week. So you asked Winston if you could go to (C/n) for personal reasons. Naturally, Winston immediately accepted without wanted to know why you thanked him and you packed your stuff to go to (C/n). No one knew, but today was the day your family died. It was also the day of your birthday but since you had never celebrated it with or without your family, you were not going to do it today. You always gave more importance to your family than to your own birthday. As most people say, family is sacred. You were flying and you thought about the last good memories you had with your family. Everything seemed so distant, everything seemed so meaningless, in the end, you came out of the plane with tears on your cheeks. Sadness, joy or nostalgia you could not tell. You wiped them away with the sleeve of your coat and you went to the cemetery where were the coffins of your family.

The buildings of (Y/n) were now all clean and renovated. People lived happily as before the attack that occurred 25 years earlier. You arrived at the cemetery, unlike the others it had not changed at all. You put flowers on your parents' coffin and you sat on the floor. You began to pray and you stayed like that for several good hours without moving. But at a time you felt a storm was coming then you got up from your position and you were off to go to the airport of your city. On your way to the airport, your laptop vibrates and you take it out of the way. "(Y/n)?" You recognised Lena's voice right away. "Yes Lena?" You heard shots through the call and you panicked right away. "C- Come back quickly luv! Talon is here-" The call ended suddenly leaving you dumbfounded. You shook your head and rushed to the airport hoping that everyone would be fine.
Little time skip
You arrived at the base in panic and sweat, all the lights of the base were extinguished and you heard nothing but just the sound of your footsteps on the ground. You walked cautiously in the base, then you felt someone was throwing on your back. You were more than surprised and you even jumped slightly. You were not prepared for someone to jump on you. Especially when that person seemed lighter and smaller than you. "SURPRISE (Y/N)!" You knew full well that it was Hana's voice but she did not seem panicked, she even seemed joyous. At the same time all the lights on the base turn on and you could saw everyone in front of you. (Yeah your mind is like What The hell is just happening?) "Happy birthday (Y/n)!" You did not say anything because you were just too shocked to answer. "Wait how do you know it is my birthday today?" You were still too surprised to really enjoy yourself for now. Hana pinched your cheeks and pulled out her tongue. "That is because you are too stupid to understand. Noob." Hana came down from your back quickly and she started to run. You turned around and you were going to sue her but Lucio stopped you. "Don't be mad at her, let's enjoy the party! Plus it's your birthday!" You abandoned the idea of pursuing her but you swore to take your revenge one day when she will totally forget what she did. "I'll have my revenge one day Hana Song!!" You shouted at her, hoping she heard. Everyone had just seen you wish you a happy birthday, you thanked them with tears in your eyes and a smile on your lips. For the first time in your life, you could really appreciate the day of your birth. You talked with Genji for a while and then he went out to get some drinks. You waited by watching him leave, then someone put his hand on your shoulder. You turned around and saw Hanzo. You thought he was going to give you a blow but no, he came instead to apologise. "Sorry about my behaviour these few days ago." "Oh... well it's nothing, thanks to you I had the chance to see my family." He removed his hand from your shoulder and raised an eyebrow. "Why didn't you invite your family here?" "Well, they are hmm... dead. I wanted to mean that I saw them to the cemetery." "I am sorry to hear that." You kept smiling and you looked at him. "It's okay, I am used to it. I hope you don't mind if Genji joins the conversation." Genji came back with glasses in his hand but when he saw his brother, he dropped them. You caught one and Hanzo catch up the second. "You should be more careful Genji." "Yeah..." Genji continued to look at his brother, still suspicious. "Okay the two brothers, you will explain that after because now, it's time to enjoy the party! So you put your problems on the side and you talk about something happier." You gave the glass to Genji and you left him with his brother. You sat on a chair and walked around the room. Everyone was happy.
You are not alone anymore my son/daughter.
Your heard someone whisper but when you turned around, there was nobody. "Oi mate, why are ya alone? Ain't it ya birthday?" You turned your head to see Jamison by your side and you smiled at him."It is, I was just thinking about something." "Alone? Oi everybody!! (Y/n) need a hug!" You looked at Jamison with astonishment and he just smiled at you. Everyone stopped talking and they watched you. "Hey, I didn't say-" You were cut off by the arms of Jamison who cuddled you. Lena and Hana ran towards you and they threw themselves on you to give you a hug. Zarya was coming and she was lifting all four of you. Genji and Hanzo looked at each other and they sighed mockingly except that McCree and Angela brought them so that they would come in the general hug. All the others came at the same time and they gave you a hug. You cried tears of joy and you could hardly get out these three words so simple to pronounce yet filled with meaning and emotion. It is true, I am not alone anymore mom, dad. "Thank you, everyone."
