Chapter 4 End of The First Day

Hey guys I'm so sorry it took me so long to update I've been pretty busy lately so I didn't have much time and I know I said I would try and get this chapter out faster than the last one but clearly that didn't happen however I'll be updating soon after this chapter I promise anyways lets continue

"Hey I'm Xion nice to meet you too" Xion replied. As art class went on Xion and Olette listened to the introductory lesson and then was told by the teacher to draw something that they liked and had a connection to and submit it by the end of the day. Olette drew a picture of her favourite ice cream bar which of course was sea salt ice cream. It looked way better than it needed to be considering it was just ice cream, however Xion drew a picture of the sea shells she had collected.Olette finished her drawing, but instead of going to hand it in she looked over at Xion's drawing and was impressed at her exceptional skill in art. "Whoa Xion this is really good!" Olette excitingly said "you really think so?" Xion asked "of course,it looks great and it was pretty cool you chose sea shells too, do you like them?" Olette asked out of curiosity. "Yeah, when I wad a little girl I used to go to the beach and try to find as many as I could so that I would be able to add them to my collection" Xion explained. "What about you? Why'd you draw ice cream?" Xion asked " well when I was new here like you, I didn't have any friends or anyone to talk to until Pence,Hayner and Roxas came and asked me if I wanted to go get ice cream after school with them. Once I did we all started to become friends and the ice cream flavour we got was this one" Olette said point to her drawing " oh I see,whats the flavour called?" Xion asked " it's called sea salt ice cream, it's Roxas' favourite" Olette answered. The two girls talked for a few more minutes until the bell rang and all the students handed in their drawing and walked out the door to leave school. As Xion was about to walk out the school door she remembered that she had to go to the usual spot after school so she turned around and made her way upstairs to the room. When she opened the door she saw Roxas,Hayner and Pence playing ps4 they barely noticed that Xion walked in. "You guys look like you're having fun" Xion commented as she walked behind the coach they were sitting on and lowered her head to eye level with theirs,"hey Xion wanna play?"Pence offered as he gave her a controller"sure what are we playing?" Xion asked " Tales of Berseria, everyday after school we come here and play a little because the game is insanely long, so if we play each day we'll finish the story at a good pace plus its tons of fun to play with friends" Pence explained " alright cool I actually have played other "Tales of" games like symphonia" Xion told Pence "wow thats rare, a lot of people don't play it because it's not as popular as other games" Hayner explained. A few minutes after,all of them started to play. Namine walked into the room with Olette and a bag of soft drinks "sorry we're late, we went across the street to stock up anyone want some?" Namine offered with a smile while opening up the bag of drinks. Everyone reached into the bag and took out a drink and opened it " hey guys this is the first time Xion has actually hung out in here with all of us lets have toast, to Xion" Roxas announced while holding up his soft drink can "to Xion!" everyone said in unison "aw thanks guys this so cool but how long can we stay in here for, I mean doesn't the school close soon?" Xion asked "not really because we are all part of student council we can actually be in the school for however long we want to, we can even come on the weekends" Olette clarified
After that they stayed at the usual spot for another hour and then they all left to go home. When Roxas got home he didn't expect to see a certain red haired girl in the kitchen cooking " Kairi? Why are you cooking?where is my brother?" Roxas asked as he walked into the kitchen " he's upstairs bringing down the mattress for me" Kairi answered. "Oh thats right today you're moving in, how long are you staying again?" Roxas asked " a year,but it might be longer depending on when my parents come back from their business trips" Kairi explained "alright cool well go sit down and make yourself comfortable I'll finish this up for you" Roxas said taking the knife from his future sister in law's hand "Roxas it's fine, really you don't need to do that please I like cooking anyways it relaxing" Kairi explained. "Well at least let me help I can't let you do it alone" Roxas insisted "alright thanks Roxas" Kairi thanked with a smile. Once they were both finished making the food Sora came downstairs and saw the wonderful stew Kairi and Roxas made. "Wow guys this looks amazing" Sora praised " well Kairi did work hard on it so it's gonna taste good" Roxas said with confidence. Kairi took separate portions for all of them and laid them out on the table. "So little bro how was your first day of school?" Kairi asked trying to make conversation "It was good" Roxas answered with a smile "I bet it was especially with that new girl whats her name Xion?" Sora teased "me and her are friends yeah but thats all I see her as, plus it was her first day and she was in some of my classes so it's not like I was gonna ignore her" Roxas explained. Sora looked at Kairi thinking that she would back up his claim because he thought she agreed with him "well Kairi what do you think" Sora asked  "I uh... I don't think I have an opinion in this" Kairi said slowly. "No  I wanna hear what you think about this too" Roxas reassured with both of the brothers trying get an answer out of Kairi and with no signs of stop Kairi gave her honest opinion"Roxas it's not that I think you like Xion, I think she likes you" Kairi explained "you really think she likes me?" Roxas asked with slight doubt "Dude when I saw her she couldn't take her eyes off you didn't you ever notice that?" Sora pointed out. "Yeah I guess so" Roxas said a little unsure "so Roxas back to what Sora was suggesting, what do you think of Xion?" Kairi asked sincerely "she's not shy and very friendly around new people, we actually have a few things in common so I don't find it hard to talk to her and she's..." Roxas stopped. "She's what?" Sora asked wanting Roxas to finish what he was going to say,"she's really pretty,I like her short black hair I think it really suits her but my favourite part about her is her blue eyes they really are beautiful." Roxas explained without noticing how much he had just said. "Told ya he likes her, a lot" Sora said with a big grin " can we just get off of me and Xion, what did you guys do today?" Roxas asked trying to change the subject " well I-" Kairi was cut off by the door bell ringing "never mind I'll get it" Kairi said as she got up from her chair at the table. "No Kairi stay and eat I'll get the door" Roxas insisted as he ran to the door. When Roxas opened the door he was more than just surprised to see who was standing there "Roxas who's at the door!?" Sora yelled "It's Xion!" Roxas yelled back " come on in" Roxas invited Xion into his house "sorry to come by so late but you left something important at school" Xion said " oh really what was it?" Roxas asked puzzled on what it could be. Xion reached into her bag and pulled out a notebook "this"
