I've been thinking all day and I'm really starting to think I should call off this bet. What Ricky said was right and I shouldn't treat her like that after all she is a nice girl that I obviously care for. I'm just not sure because it's just a bet what harm could it do but then again it is degrading when I think about its purpose. Ricky has been avoiding me all day so I haven't talked to him.

It seems the talk of the day is how sudden Brittany became bold and told off Devilyn. I know Devilyn is going to try something cause it's not in her nature to just sit back and listen. I gotta watch out for Brittany even though she's a smart girl. I'm starting to feel her with being around her and every time I see her I just get this warm type of feeling. I know it's only been two days since I started talking to her again but I never stopped thinking about her. Maybe I should dial it back or people will start talking and I'm pretty sure I've been giving them enough to talk about with me walking Brittany to class and all.

I'm at home getting ready to go pick up Brittany. I'm kinda nervous and I don't understand why like I been with many girls before. I never took them anywhere but my room though. I check over myself one last time in my mirror.

I decided to take my all black Audi since I never drive it. It's very special to me so I never use it really. I don't know why now I wanna drive it maybe to impress Brittany. I breathe and go pull my car out the garage. My dad is outside and when I back out he stops me. "Woww son who you tryna impress?" "What do you mean?" I ask knowing exactly what he is implying. My dad is a lawyer/detective so he is very good at prying things outta you it's his skill unfortunately for me.

"You bringing out this car out of the ordinary it has to be a special occasion or special someone so spill it." "Fine you remember the girl who lived across the street over on 105 Orchard St." I tell him knowing he does since my parents practically adored Brittany and thought of her as a daughter to them. They were confused when we stopped being friends but it didn't last long cause we soon moved and they eventually stopped asking after they realized I wouldn't give an answer. "Oh yea little Ms.Brittany who you couldn't get enough of." He teases.

"If that's how you wanna put then yea her." I smirk at him and roll my eyes. "So you two are finally you know." He says throwing hints in lifting his eyebrows. "Well I'm trying dad but you're kinda making me late picking her up." "Oh sorry son but why don't you bring her over. She's hasn't been around since y'all were in middle school." "Okay dad I'll try to bring her tonight." "Okay perfect have fun with your girlfriend." He snickers. "Sure dad."

I roll into Brittany's yard and hop out. I walk to the door speaking to Mrs. Jade on the way and knock. She comes to the door and I'm slightly shooketh. She can actually dress up without the big clothes not that she isn't beautiful either way and her hair looks so much better when it's down. "You ready?" She asked and I just nod. She tells me to come in while she gets her phone. I watch her run up stairs then walk straight into the living room and start looking around. They changed some things around. There were many pictures of her with Zara and then I catch sight of a picture of me and her when we were in 3rd grade. She was on my back smiling and I was to. I was touched that she even still had a picture of me after all I did to her over the years. That picture alone made me want to cut the whole deal then.
