"Maria! We're going to be late!"
"She's not here, Liza!" Angelica called back.
I rolled my eyes at myself. Of course she's not here! I'm not allowed to see my wife on the day of the wedding.
"Stop moving your eyes! It's going to make your eyeliner look crooked!" Peggy said.
She was doing my makeup since I thought she did it the best.

I put it on, with the help of my sisters, and smiled.
"Now let's do your hair." Angelica said.
"We just did it!" I complained.
"I just need to re-curl it. You have to look perfect!" She squealed.
She re-curled it and brushed it out.
"You look wonderful, Eliza. I'm glad you found a person that makes you happy." Peggy said.
"Thanks." I replied sniffling.
"Oh no Liza! Don't cry! Tears are for during the wedding!" Angelica said.
I laughed and smiled at my sisters. Angelica put my veil on for me and I couldn't help but let that one tear roll down my cheek.
"I love you, guys." I said as I embraced my sisters into a hug.
"Now we gotta go help Maria. See you in a little bit." Angelica said.
"What am I supposed to do? Mr. Washington won't arrive until 12!" I complained.
"Sit still and look pretty." Peggy joked.
*Maria's POV*
"What if she calls it off at the last minute?" I panicked as Angelica brushed out my hair.
"She won't." Peggy reassured as she did my makeup.
"But what if she---" I started.
"Maria! She won't say no! She loves you way too much! Now stop talking before I mess up your lipstick. I didn't do 5 layers for nothing!"
