||Lola's POV||
"Lola wake up" my older brother Leo shouts to me.
Doesn't he know the meaning of sleep?
"Lola you're going to be late for school"
"Ugh fine"
I get up out of bed, I go do my morning routine and I get changed into a pastoral pink crop top, light blue high waist skinny jeans, my sugg life hoodie (don't judge me okay?) and my black Nikes. I sit down at my desk and do my natural make up for the day, which is just foundation, mascara, cream eye shadow with brown eye shadow, contour, blush and light pink lipstick.
I place my hair into space buns. Just basically little space buns with half my hair hanging down. If you can't picture just search it up on google, that's where I got to learn how to do space buns.
After all this, I grab my iPhone 7, handbag and head downstairs to the kitchen to meet Lee.
"Your finally up. I'm just making pancakes"
I smile at Lee and take a seat at the table. It still feels weird that it's just me and Lee living together. Why? My parents are divorced and my dad cares more about his step-son then he cares about me. For my mum well her new boyfriend doesn't like, he sees me as a 'distraction' for my mum. Not being funny but she is meant to care for me and Lee as we are her children. So he kicked me out and Lee took me in.
Lee is a youtuber and he also works as a personal assistant for Ashley Benson which is really cool, as I'm a huge fan of Ashley and I've met her a few times. Which makes me think why I've become the popular girl along with my two best friends Clare and Bailey. We've been best friends since we were 6, so about 12 years now.
"Here you go Loboo"
"Thanks Leeboo"
Loboo and Leeboo are mine and Lee's nicknames for each other.
"What time will you be home today?"
"I don't know. I'll text you and tell Ashley I say hi"
"I will"
I finish of my pancakes, hug Lee goodbye and I head out the door to meet Clare and Bailey. I walk to the end of my street where I'm met by Bailey.
"Finally I've been waiting here for 10 minutes"
"Bails calm down, it's not like you were going do die"
"You never know"
We both burst out laughing. We honestly have such weird but funniest conversations.
"Clare is meeting is us in five"
"Alrighty"
Me and Bailey sit on the wall, waiting for Clare. A few minutes later Clare arrives and we head to school. Before you say anything the reason why we don't drive is, that we feel like every popular or rich kid drives to school, but we are the different kind of popular.
Once we arrive at school we head straight to our lockers, better get ready for this long week ahead.
"Lola"
"Marty?"
Marty is one of my other friends who is in my science and maths. No we are not dating, Marty has a girlfriend Chloe.
"Hey Marty, everything alright?"
"Yah. Just wanted to see how you are that's all"
"I'm fine don't worry about me"
"You're one of my friends, of course I'm gonna worry. Anyways Chloe is throwing a party this weekend and she would like to invite you, Clare and Bailey with a plus one"
"Sure. I'll try and find a plus one"
Me and Marty laugh. I hug him goodbye and face Clare and Bailey, here we go.
"Chloe wants to invite us? What the fuck?"
"Clare don't worry. At least we can bring a plus one and we will have each other there"
"Lola is right. We will have each other and this gives us an excuse to ask a cute guy to come with us"
"Alright Bailey and Lola. But we got to find a guy ASAP okay?"
"Gotcha"
I had to drama, while Clare heads to maths and Bailey heads to English. Hopefully I can find someone to come with me soon. I also hope there isn't a project in drama today that we have to do.
I walk into the drama room, dump my stuff down and take a seat on the floor with everyone else.
"Good morning class. Today I will be assigning you partners to work on a project. You both will have a month to complete it and please don't ask to change"
Really Mr Clark. As if this day could get any worse.
"Lola you will be with Reece for this project"
I look around to see who Reece is and my eyes fall upon a blonde. Let's hope he isn't a total ass.
"Hey"
"Hey"
Well this is awkward.
"I hate this as much as you do"
"Why?"
"Isn't obvious you're a popular and I'm not"
"I'm different from the others"
"Prove it"
"Come with me to my friends girlfriends party this weekend then"
"Are you really asking me?"
"Yes. Now come let's get on with this project"
Reece seem surprised when I asked him to Chloe's party. He seems pretty chill and I would love to get to know him.
