You were blind. Everyone knew that, cause it was obvious, you had to have someone with you at all times, even during school. No one talked to you, well, all except for one person and that was Guren. He was actually assigned your helper in school and you were glad you were. Today was your birthday, but your parents were gone so they asked Guren if he could stay with you, of course you began to stutter and ramble and he accepted immediately. So here you are, waiting on the couch in your pjs, waiting for your long time crush that you can't see to get here. Guren... he was a huge sweetheart, and when he lets you touch his face, when you touch his cheeks, its like your touching warm clouds. When he laughed it was like music to your ears... oh how you wished you could see him. Your parents have been trying to get an appointment to do surgery on your eyes, you have the worst eye floaters on your eyes cause when you were little, you had a seizure from too many flashing lights at a kids party and well, it cause you to have the worst eye floaters any doctor has seen, but it would either be taken or you'd have to wait until you were thirty, and they wanted done now while you were still young. But honestly, Guren made that better for the most part. He didn't care if you were blind.
"(Y/n)?? I'm here!" You heard is melodic voice echo through the room.
"In here Guren." You call back not moving. You felt a dip in the couch and a hand on yours, which was placed on your knee.
"Is something bothering you?" He asked. You felt your cheeks heat up.
"No. I-I'm fine!" You say with a shy smile. Silence, then arms wrapped around you.
"No, you're upset... what's the matter?" He demanded, you melt in his arms and lean on him.
"I wish I could see you... that's all." You admitted.
"I know, but i'm here, we can tough it out. Your parents are trying." He says.
"They don't seem to be trying hard enough."
"Hey don't say that. They really are!" He boasts. You giggle and look where his voice was coming from. You lift your hands to his face and begin to feel around until you found his cheek. He nuzzles your hand softly.
"You're beautiful the way you are... blind or not." Guren tells you. You felt your cheeks heat up.
"No... I-i-i can't be that beautiful..." You tell him shakily.
"Yes you are (Y/n)."
"H-h-how am I?" You ask him, suddenly, you felt warm lips on yours... was he...? The warmth on your lips left and you felt your cheeks burn.
"Cause I love you... and how I see you will never change." He said.

You and Guren had dated after that, now a year passed... and your parents and Guren took you to the hospital to do your surgery. When you woke up... at first it was blurry, then you saw violet eyes looking directly at you, it looked like he'd been crying.
"(Y/n)....." He said, your eyes widened.
"Guren... " He smiled widely and hugged you gently.
"Want to see what you look like?" He asked. You nodded. He grabbed a mirror and held it up. You saw a beautiful girl with (h/c) hair, red highlights to match Guren, and now (e/c) eyes.
"That's me..." You said.
Guren nodded.
"Whoa...." You gawked, when Guren called you beautiful, you knew he wasn't lying now. You actually WERE beautiful, and you loved it!
