jimin lay down on his back, facing the high ceiling of his bedroom in a complete silence filled with warmth. slim fingers were tangled within his soft pink hair, slightly tugging at the strands as he let out soft breaths, his chest rising and falling at a slow continuous pace. tan skin flush against white sheets, he was a painting in beige and blush ─ two neutral colors that complimented one another.

bright fairy lights illuminated the darkness and shone magnificently against his angelic features, emphasizing how purely celestial jimin was. despite the early time of midnight and the circles that stuck out underneath his hazel eyes, he still managed to look like pure heaven on earth, blessed with the gift of high beauty standards and ethereal looks.

pastel clothing hung loosely off his body, dips and curves being hidden away. his rosy lips trembled, causing his entire body to shake as the fragile boy struggled to hold back tears. staring up at the ceiling, the empty air finally filled up with sounds of choked sobs and muffled whimpers, jimin realized exactly how alone he truly was. alone and utterly sad.

beauty was considered a nobility, with the way people would stare as he passed by, eyes locked on him until he grew further out of sight. single flowers and handwritten notes found deep within his locker. whispers about him every time he passed by, even squeals when he simply looked or smiled at someone. he couldn't stand to think that his curse was a blessing ─ to him, it was madness.

turning on his side, he looked out the window with sparkling eyes, cheeks flushed red from crying and a heart full of despair. his silver, transparent curtains were parted, giving him a gorgeous sight of the dark sky and shining stars, glistening and blinking in the early morning. and for once, he didn't feel so alone, because he knew someone else would be looking at the stars at the same time.

yoongi was seated upon the mahogany roof with ease, wrapping his thin arms around himself as he looked up at the starry night sky, puffs of air being shown every time he released a breath. his veiny hand clutched a silver necklace, the pendant digging into his skin and collecting drops of blood. a bottle of vodka lay next to him, half empty and almost mocking him, daring him to drink further.

scary yet mesmerizing ─ those words were some that perfectly described the drunken male, with the way his triangular shaped eyes were nearly pitch black and his aura gave off a terrifying vibe. additionally, his attitude portrayed him as an outcast, mean words rolling off his tongue with such fierceness and impetuous, it was distraught.

however, upon every first glance or meeting he encountered, yoongi couldn't contain his upholding anger. he was misunderstood, not meaning to be seen as a vicious pessimist; it was his curse. one that continuously followed him throughout his entire life, pushing away any and all forms of contact as he struggled to be heard, to be genuinely wanted.

dark thoughts emptied his mind through his eyes as he couldn't hold back his tears, letting them freely drift down his cheeks while he took another swig of the strong alcohol. baggy clothing hid his scars and bruises, adding onto his everlasting secrets. pain spread with every movement he made, but he enjoyed it ─ the feeling of being alive.

with a deep sigh, he glanced at the stars and realized how truly miserable he was. love was something that didn't come easy to him, nor was it offered. his own father hadn't even loved him, giving him only a necklace when he abandoned him. yoongi glanced down at the blood-encrusted pendant before throwing it, listening for the soft pang as it hit the ground with only the stars as his witness.
