I stare in the mirror and check my hair, quickly looking over at the clock, checking the time. Just a few more minutes before I have to go outside. My hands shake in the reflection, and I ball them up into fists, taking deep breaths. Am I really going to do this? Am I really going to do it?

The alarm on my phone goes off and I quickly turn it off, turning my phone on vibrate before throwing my jacket on quickly. Unlocking the front door, I open it, heading out, then relock the door, jogging down the street towards the forest at the city's edge. I have to be in position before he gets there. For the past few months, I have been going before the sun rises to the little forest that skirts the city. The first time I went was when I got angry and went to take a walk.

That was when I saw him.

The boy with the white hair, cut just perfectly so it brushes across the middle of his ears and covers the back of his neck. Albino skin and red eyes that seemed to linger on everything, as if seeing the soul within it, the flow of life. He always wore a white jacket that came down to his knees and white pants, most likely pressed each day. I smelled the scent of on him on the air and I had taken a deep breathe in, enjoying it. He looked so nice standing there in the middle of the field holding the bunny. That is, until he looked up that day. A small smile played across his lips, but it never quite reached his eyes.

I woke up in my bed after that disoriented and confused, holding my head. From then on I went to the field in the middle of the forest each day until now before dawn to see him. He never does anything, but I can feel how calm he is from a distance, how much he enjoys it there. But, at the same time I can see how lonely he is. You would think with a face as perfect as his he would be bringing someone with him to this place in the forest, but he always comes alone and never with anyone else. I shake my head and go over to my normal tree a little ways from where I was in my dream.

The tall grass sways in the light breeze, and he steps out from the trees. My breath hitches in my throat as I watch him walk towards the center of the field, his feet gliding across the ground, his body seeming to float. I can feel my cheeks pinken as I watch him, my pulse picking up, my breath going a bit shallow. He is just so beautiful, like an angel...

Today is different, and when he gets to where he usually stands, he tilts his head up and clears his throat, starting to sing. The melody is so captivating and beautiful, I can't help but lean against the tree and sigh quietly, closing my eyes. For a moment, it was quiet, and with every beat it got a bit louder until I could hear it as if it was right next to me. Fingers brush across my cheek, pushing a bit of my hair against my ear and I open my eyes to find his red ones staring at me as he keeps singing. "And you see it within yourself, to fall to the ground like a newly coloured autumn leaf~"
