The next morning I walked out of Joey's room in my dress from last night to see Chandler drinking a cup of coffee in the kitchen. 

"Good morning Giovanna." Chandler said smirking at me.

"Good morning Chandler. You can wipe that smirk right off your face mister." I said as I walked over and accepted a mug of coffee Chandler poured for me.

"No, I don't think I can." 

"Whatever, you're so immature." I scoffed.

"Yeah who cares. So tell me when you and Joey are going to start dating already." Chandler questioned me.

"Morning." Joey walked in, interrupting Chandler and I's discussion. 

"Morning." Chandler and I both responded. 

"Do you have to go to work today?" Joey asked as he poured himself a cup of coffee.

"If I want to get paid, yes." I responded and he pouted.

"Okay well, I am going to go work so I don't have to see where this conversation goes, goodbye." Chandler said sarcastically before walking out the door with us calling goodbye behind him.

"Please don't go to work." Joey begged.

"I'll tell you what, I will go to work then we can go out for lunch." I tried to compromise.

"Or you could stay here and we can go out for lunch." Joey refuted.

"Joey, I have to go to work." I told him.

"Okay fine, but I don't like this. And I'm still coming by for lunch." He said before I kissed him then walked into his room to get dressed. I threw on one of Joey's t-shirts and a pair of his sweatpants before grabbing my clothes and purse. 

"You look so beautiful in my clothes." Joey said as I walked towards him.

"Thank you." I responded kissing him and walking towards the door.

"I'll call you before I come for lunch." He told me as he opened the door for me.

"Okay Joe, I'll see you for lunch." I said before walking out into the hallway and kissing him one more time before leaving. I walked across the street to my apartment and got changed for work. I quickly got dressed in a blue blouse with white birds and a white pencil skirt before quickly doing a classy-messy bun and a natural makeup look. I threw on some white pointed toe stilettos before grabbing my purse and running out the door, catching a cab to work. In the break room, I grabbed a muffin and a cup of coffee before going to my office and starting up some work for the day. Around one I got a call from Joey saying that he was leaving his apartment to come to my office. I continued to work until my receptionist buzzed me saying Joey was here. 

"Hey, Joe." I said as I heard the door open, I looked up from my work to see him closing the door behind him. 

"Hey, you ready to go?" He asked me as he came around my desk to stand behind me.

"I am, where are we going?" I asked him, spinning around to face him. 

"This great Mexican place that Pheobe found last month. I've been dying to try it out." He said, grabbing my hand and helping me up from my chair.

"Well then let's go." I said, grabbing my purse and following Joey out of my office and into the elevator. We walked to the restaurant and arrived only ten minutes later. It wasn't really crowded so we were seated right away and quickly ordered since we were both starving. 

"So Gi, I've been meaning to ask you...would you want to like officially be my girlfriend?" Joey asked me, turning red with nervousness. 

"I would be honored." I responded, placing my hand on top of his on the table. He leaned over and gave me a quick kiss before returning to his seat. Once our food came we ate and made jokes and normal conversation with each other before paying and walking back to my building. 

"I'll meet you at the coffee shop after work?" I asked him as we reached the door to my building. 

"I will be there." Joey said before kissing me.

"Bye." I whispered to him before turning and walking inside with the biggest smile on my face. I am Joey Tribianni's girlfriend.
