IT WAS A quiet night in the hufflepuff common room and sleeping quarters — too quiet for aurora's liking. she slipped out of her warm bed and slid on a jacket as she entered the common room, preparing to go out on a walk. aurora then left the safety of her common room and walked down the quiet and somewhat creepy corridor in search of a way outside. and then she bumped into you. she squealed a bit before mumbling apologies in fear that you would tell a professor. she didn't need a detention on top of every thing else that was upon her pretty little mind.
"please — please don't tell a professor." she begged as she looked up at you sadly. aurora had always been on the short side, which was weird considering both of her parents were tall at her age atleast. aurora couldn't look at you any longer so she tore her gaze from your eyes as she stared at her feet, mindlessly playing with her hands. this wasn't the way aurora normally was, something was definitely off.
aurora hugged the sweater to her body tighter, as she was growing even more nervous and scared. "please." she mumbled as she glanced up at your face one more time before once again staring at her bottom half, admiring the stitching pattern in her clothing. she didn't realise it was just you.
